Hello, I have to say that I have never experienced at any rate the way of how I felt at this location. We were discriminated for being handicap and for having a service dog. The manager, Maria was snapping her fingers at a employee, which I thought was beyond me and completely unprofessional. She has no manners whatsoever. Our waitress, Susi, was the complete opposite. She treated us with the absolute professionalism, checked on us several times, while we were there. The employees that direct you as to where to seat, are fairly young and I can see if they haven't been trained correctly, will have that type of reaction. There were two, but I don't know who was worse. Our request to sit in a complete booth was completely ignored. At first, we were only offered to sit in a table with chairs, which like I stated earlier, there's a handicap person that cannot sit like that, as it's uncomfortable for her to sit and get up, let alone enjoy her meal. We were then seated in a half booth, which there were plenty of full booths available at the time, and we were denied that option, as well. Luckily, the waitress saved the day and we were able to have a great meal. As the front employees and the incompetent manager are seeing our interaction with the waitress, they're just giving us the side eye and like they were bothered by the turn out of the rest of the time we were there. Just a fairly awkward environment to be working in. I feel for the workers there, as they shouldn't be treated in that manner. They are not beneath her in any way, shape or form. The reason why she even has a position, is because of the hard workers that allow her to even "manage", if that's even considered with her. You just should not treat people like that, PERIOD..... Ihop, I really hope you look into this matter soon, as this location, in the past, has worked great. In hopes that this gets resolved soon as this could easily go into a civil case for lack of accountability and discrimination, not to mention the liability that lies within your chain to adequately attend to disabled individuals that should be catered to as they are our elders and deserve our upmost respect. The manager should be also trained to accommodate and have the level of respect across the board, as she is in representation of the franchise, and carries the name of the company. Read moreThey rob you! Maria A was my waiter for the day, I am a very nice person and respectful especially when it comes to customer service places, because I been there and done that! She charged me someone else’s table , Comes back telling me she messed up and that she already refund me, slaps a receipt on the table telling me here’s the proof of your refund , and tells me that I still have to pay for my order. Not only was I like, “um ok” Imagen I didn’t have the money to pay a total of 200 bucks by the end of my avocado toast, a kids meal and a waffle, but the following 2 days I see the transaction went fully through with noooo refund, I double check the receipt that maria slapped on my table, turned out to be a duplicate receipt of my order, not what she accident charged or any refund on it but just a duplicate because guess what she saw me with a stupid face probably, so now I’m mad I call the managers Uriel (something like that) proceeded with saying they’re sorry they will try to fix it but waiting for another manager who can help me with this. I waited I am a nurse. So I waited for my surgery case to finish I got no call from them so I called them back on my break and they followed up saying “the refund says it processed through on our end, if I had any problems to contact my bank” so here I am not filing a claim for their mistakes and they just think it’s funny to rob people just cause they can get away with it so be prepared to take more than 200 dollars on their busy days because obviously “they’re so busy their mistakes are valid” I honestly don’t appreciate how they just look at you as a liar I even asked if I should wait a couple of days to see if the refund goes through they said “uuummmm just check tommorrow” .. yea it’s been since march 2nd for their mistake that they want no part of, I even offered to go in with my receipts maria gave me but nooo that, that wasn’t necessary so never again I don’t understand why you guys are so passive with stuff like this I’m not even from that area I live 45 mins away for them to rob me for a...
Read moreJust had a meal with my family here. I have to say that the customer service was the worst. Our server was sent to her break mid way through our meal. Non of the other servers bothered to come and check if we needed anything. It was until I asked the manager why was our server gone that she said it was her fault. That she sent her on her break, and that she (manager) was supposed to be handling our service but apparently forgot. She also said that she had 3 servers on the side of the restaurant that we were sitting on. I told her none of them bothered to ask us anything or even turn our way for that matter. I'm not mad at our server as she was following management orders. The management should have done a better job with the situation.
