Clarendon Hotel — Hotel in Huntington Park

Worst place my family and I ever stay in. One bed for 80 dollars at night for 4 people...place is located in a bad place...no parking...the smell as soon as you enter the room is horrible.... Bed in very bad condition..heater did not work..curtains were full of stains and dust...carpet smell bad...not to mentioned the chair was broken and ripped... The bathroom oooh God...We did not dare to even used the toilet...tv sucked.....we arrived at 5 p.m. there..end it up leaving at 7 not caring about no refund.....We found a grate hotel about a mile away for 85 at night and 2 beds...grate place...5 dollars difference and well worth it. We will never return to that ugly...

Room had bare bones, a bed & wall-attached shelf masquerading as a bedside table, flat screen TV, bed linens & hole-ridden curtains..period! Shared restroom with other guests was a joke. I guess that’s what $65/night gets you these days. Supposed to have AC… I guess you can call broken glass windows a type of ventilation. Then there’s the subtle funk smell which I couldn’t identify, that I tried to coverup with me dousing my clothes & pillows with my favorite perfume. The carpet, let’s just pass on the description. Terrible experience! This hotel has the worst service I’ve ever encountered. They canceled my reservation last minute without informing me, claiming the room was under maintenance. Yet, when I called, they offered the same room at a higher price if booked in person.

The room was in horrible condition:

No heater (we suffered in the cold all night)

No hot water

No bathroom lock

Dusty and unclean

Only one towel for four people

No trash bin

This place is completely unprofessional and seems like a scam. Avoid...
