Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Huntington Park

Extreeeeeemely rude. Whoever was taking the drive-thru orders March 6 at 3:58 pm has the potential to be SUCH a kinder human but simply chooses not to. My 5 year old daughter LOVES Carl's Jr chocolate and oreo milkshakes. We came to this location after passing another one because I wanted my baby to be able to enjoy her shake at home.

We attempted to order here and the person on the speaker told me she can't do that. Keep in mind we CONSISTENTLY order this shake from other locations and I have no problem paying for extra orders or whatever the charge is. They ARE capable of doing it if they can make a cookies and cream or a chocolate shake.

I reminded her that every other location makes them for us and again, don't mind paying extra. She tells me she can't do it so what do I want.

After that exchange told her nothing it's OK and I appreciate her when she immediately doesn't respond. My 5 year old is confused as hell as to why the lady won't make her shake for her and while we're sitting n the drive thru watching other people get their food I see the person handing out the food hanging out the window looking past the car in front of us at us frowning... I guess she expressing her anger for me saying I appreciate them? Keep in mind we've been locked in the drive thru for 10 minutes with a kid who doesn't understand (and frankly I don't either) why staff was unwilling to help my child get her treat for the day.

The staff did NOT demonstrate that they valued us as customers. Which is fine. My family will not be spending another dime here n my kids will grow up knowing not to go to this location.

Management I hope you help your staff learn how to communicate KINDLY and teach them that customers spending their money is the reason there's employment.

We're happily at Carls Jr on Florence & Santa fe. And guess what, they made my baby her chocolate & oreo shake, they were kind and made it happen for her. My baby got her treat.

I love Carls Jr but this particular location is the absolute worst Carls ive ever ever had the misfortune of dining at, and I've ate at a lot of them. I live near this location so ive settled for their sub par service in a pinch too many times. #1 Every single time my orders are made incorrectly. My order is placed and rung up correctly by the counter person but it never fails that the sandwich maker does not or cannot read the sandwich screen and makes them wrong. This happens each and every time. This isn't rocket science, just desired toppings on sandwiches and they cant do it . #2 Any additional item (usually a side of jalapeños) ordered is , more often than not, not put in the bag. #3 Dining room closed ,doors locked, before scheduled time on more than a few occasions. #4 When dining room does stay open until advertised time the soda dispensers in dining room are shut down an hour or two before closing dining room which causes patrons to have to stand in line and wait in order to get a refill. I could go on about the cold sandwiches and fries but I think the other complaints are enough. To get such poor service and food quality from a Carls Jr is not the norm, but at this location it is. Terrible service at this store has been going on for at least 3 years that I know of. The entire crew should be fired. This store is a disgrace and an embarrassing representative of Carls Jr. I would guess that this is a franchise store and not a corporate store which would explain the horrible service that is the norm here. It does not even warrant one star but in order to give a review you have to rate at least one star. This location is garbage . Avoid it...

I recommend going to subway, it's nearby, in the shopping center. I ordered a chicken sandwich and here's what happened:

So, I was first in line and I asked the cashier how much was the spicy chicken sandwich and she said $1.79 and I had $1.80 (I'm broke ok). When she did the order, she said that is was $1.96 so I had to run back to my mom's car and ask her for .16 more cents because the cashier didn't tell me the exact amount, tax included. After that, I got back in line. The lady in front of me ordered about 5 boxes and took forever to count her money so I was stuck there for about 7 min. I finally got to order when the lady was done, she continued on to the next customer. I sat there for about 20 min because the lady didn't call my number loud enough so I could here. I KNOW SHE SAW ME SITTING THERE AND YET SHE DIDN'T COME AND TELL ME OR HAND ME MY FOOD. So I walked over there and the lady gave me my food. No nampkins or ketchup like I asked.
