Horrible experience. I ordered on the app before arriving upon arrival My food still was not prepared. Chose to pick my food up. Carry out on the app has two options. The second option is drive-thru. I don't want to wait in a drive-thru. I'm in a hurry so I choose carryout. The restaurant door is locked. I was told to go into the drive-thru by one of the workers who was trying to avoid making eye contact with me when I was trying to get my food. My reaction was disappointment and regret ordering at this location. I responded by going to the drive-thru window by foot. I asked them to give me my food and I repeated my order to them making sure every detail is taken into consideration. I was told by what looks like to be the manager that my food was going to be taken to my car where I'm parked at. I'm waiting another 10 minutes, possibly 15 minutes when I finally get my food. My drink is wrong. I don't have the condomance that I asked for and I can hear the manager mocking me saying that. That's how I asked for it. If you want Jack in the box go elsewhere. This place needs to be shut down immediately because the workers lack. Carmen decency for customers and consideration when taking the job to prepare someone's food needless to say this will be the last time and if you read this don't waste your time there. Just find another location if you ignore this warning, just know you were told in advance through this review. There's nothing more I can do. I'm just trying to help you save your time and your patience by avoiding a headache which is inevitable when coming to this location above all else if you don't want to take my word for it, see for yourself so you can experience the disappointment in real time. Read moreI get there around midnight and they tell me they're only doing pickup orders. Like what? Keep in mind this is supposed to be a ‘open 24 hours’ location. This Jack in the box already has terrible service and messes up orders more often than not, now they're outright not servicing people??
When you do manage to get service, they always claim they’re out of this or that (I’ve never had this problem with any other location) and the food you do get is poorly made and is missing ingredients. I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve gotten their tacos without lettuce or cheese.
I also have to mention the people taking orders and how they always have a bad attitude and act short like you did something to them. Why even work in food service if you're going to be like that? Sadly this is the closest one to me but I’ve had to end up inconveniencing myself to go to their Huntington Park location on Slauson which has 0 of the problems this one does. They need a serious re-hauling of management AND employees or straight up just need to be shut down (but because it’s in the hood no one will care or do anything about it). The food was fresh when we received it, but the drinks were wrong and we went over them twice. But when they were handed through the window one drink was wrong. I ordered 1 RootBeer 2 Sprites and 1 Coke. I was given 2Cokes 1 Sprite and 1 RootBeer. When I told her it was inaccurate she replied I asked you if it was correct before we made them. She could have been a bit more pleasant but instead she asked for the drink back and asked me what I wanted rudely! I looked at the receipt and yes I did order accurate. Her customer service has lost this Jack In The Box my patronage. The proper way to handle my concern was to say ma’am our apologies let me get you the correct drink, not I repeated the order and you said yes when the receipt clearly showed that and you still got it wrong.
