UPDATED 10/20/2023 - Downhill from 5 stars to 2. I have been back twice in the last month and am amazed that a good place to eat and drink has gone downhill this fast. My daughter and son in law joined me for a quick bite and a beer last night and there was a whole new crew working. I know several team members went to the new location in Madison. but they must have taken all the people who held this place together. The atmosphere was very bright and the music so loud that you could not hear the person next to you. We got there at 8:00 and they close at 9:00 and sat at the bar. They had already started cleaning which I can understand, but the bleach smell was very strong as they wiped things down just a few feet from us as we ordered a couple appetizers. The fried poblanos were ok, but a little greasy from frying and in a couple large clumps instead of the single strips that they usually are. As we were finishing eating and ready for the check, the staff was so busy cleaning that they did not notice. They proceeded to pour a small bucket of cleaning liquid on the floor. It may have been bleach again, but by this time I couldn't smell anything but the bleach. I recommend that if they care about this location they bring back the old crew and retrain the staff here. If they don't care as it appears, just close this location down.
August 2023 I've been back many times since my first visit as I live in the Huntsville area now. The food is always fresh and prepared with care. I usually drink and eat at the bar. Jessica is one of the best bar tenders there and in the area. I appreciate the effort she puts in to her craft and the experience it takes to do it well. I have not had a bad meal there as the burgers are good, the Buffalo Tots are amazing and Emilios Chicken is a must have.
My first visit --- My daughter and son-in-law live in the Huntsville area and took me here for lunch when I was in town visiting. Good selection of beer and cocktail options. I ordered on of their specialty burgers, pastrami burger. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and was delicious. We enjoyed a nice quiet leisurely lunch in a...
Read moreIf you’re in Huntsville, Alabama, and craving a meal that’s big on flavor, fun, and presentation, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar on S. Memorial Parkway is where you need to be. I had the pleasure of dining there recently, and it was an experience worth savoring.
We kicked things off with the “Not Your Mama’s Deviled Eggs,” and let me tell you, these were no ordinary deviled eggs. Each fried egg white was crispy perfection, adding a delightful crunch that you don’t normally expect in such a dish. The sweet and spicy glaze danced on the palate, while the bacon bits provided that savory, smoky finish that took it over the top. The presentation was stunning—a perfect starter that set the bar high for the rest of the meal.
Then came the “Sean’s Meal Deal,” which I crafted myself. A juicy fried chicken patty, seasoned to perfection, was nestled on a slice of toasted sourdough. Topped with fresh veggies, a creamy layer of avocado, and a fried egg that oozed just the right amount, this sandwich was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The sourdough gave a slightly tangy crunch that played perfectly against the richness of the fried chicken. Paired with golden onion rings and a side of house-made dipping sauce, it was a masterpiece of comfort food.
We also tried the “Swiss Burger with Onion Strings,” and the presentation alone was enough to make anyone stop and admire the plate. Crispy onion strings stacked high on top of a perfectly cooked beef patty, melting Swiss cheese cascading down the sides, and the buttery toasted bun—each bite was a flavor explosion. The onion strings added a light, crispy element that contrasted beautifully with the juicy burger and savory cheese.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar doesn’t just deliver on the taste; they serve their dishes with flair, making every meal feel like a gourmet experience. Whether you’re a burger lover or looking to try something new like those deviled eggs, this spot promises bold flavors and creative spins on the classics. Definitely a place worth adding to your must-try list...
Read moreI took my family out to this place tonight. It was my first time eating here. But I was horrible and it will be my last time ever eating here. I didn't even eat the food. We waited 45 mins for our food. Inkt to relieve cold cold cold food. So we asked thw waited why was our food call if we waited 45 mins for it. Only thing she had to say was I'll get the manager. Mind u she never came and checked on us while we waited those 45 minutes. My kids needed drinks and so did the other couple that was with us. Then the manager came she was nice she offered to take of my meal and asked if I needed it remade. But I explained to her I been here since 8pm it was 858pm by the time I spoke to the manager and told her I couldn't wait for fresh food because I already waited almost an hour. And I have to be at work at 2am but this place is overrated and idk what the food taste like because I left mines untouched because I didn't want them saying oh u ate it. I didn't take it home. Either I left it. And paid 71 dollars for the kids food and they didn't even want theirs due to to it being lukewarm. I won't be back and I always tell people when I had a bad experience somewhere. So thanks alot for wasting my time and money on this place some of us work hard for our money and we actually value spending it . But when the service and quality is good. These places nowadays get to comfortable and forget the simple key customer service points..and the icing on the cake to all this is it was just us and 2 other people in the restaurant when we placed our order. So we don't know what the hold up was or why our food would be cold if there wasn't a high volume of customers there. We only came there because it was packed at all the other restaurants because it was mother's day . So yea I won't be back and big food chains could careless of u come back or not. You are just one person but it's fine I'm one person that take how my family and I...
