Just Love Coffee Cafe - Huntsville — Restaurant in Huntsville

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE COLORADO SPRINGS, CREEKSIDE. I am no sure how Huntsville popped up as I clicked Colorado Springs. I can't delete for some reason :( I was so disappointed. I was looking forward to this opening in our area. Last week I took my seven and eight year old granddaughters as well as my 17 year old daughter for an afternoon snack and I needed some lunch. The service was just average count or service so I don't know why people rave about the service. I ordered a sandwich, the Italian caprese I think it was called. It had a lot of cheese, one tomato slice in the middle and something green but very little of it. The menu options are limited. I figured a coffee shop would have sweet treats but they just had a few muffins and waffle things. I ordered my granddaughters the cinnamon roll waffles and they were very small. My daughter had a sweet matcha tea and it tasted like milk with green food coloring. An employee was emptying the trash out of the bathrooms, which has a big black trash bags, when she brought them out there was hardly anything at the bottom. So she took both restroom trashes out as well as the one where you clear your table and none of them had hardly anything at the bottom. I guess they are not a very environmentally friendly location. An older lady took the bins where you're supposed to put your silverware and plates when you're done so there was no place for us to put the items to bust our table and she had closed off that trash can. There was another trash can across the room. It was just super weird in there. For some reason they have a TV on the wall, even though the vibe is not one that you would find a TV. I don't know if you've ever watched TNT but that's the channel they had on and I felt the show was very inappropriate for my young granddaughters. Even commercials on TNT are very inappropriate for young kids. Again, super bummed that it wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I was so excited for a nice little coffee shop...

A spoon for coffee is a special request. There is no salt or pepper on the table.

The plate size was too small. I prefer to eat a bite of this and then a bite of that. With the plate size, that wasn't possible. Even after removing the fruit bowl and the syrup pitcher, there wasn't enough space on the plate to allow me to eat the waffle at the same time as the eggs and meats.

Just Love apparently expects people to eat one item at a time. The fruit bowl is fresh and tasty AND layered. Strawberries and blueberries are on the top. Then, apples and grapes underneath. Toss it people!!

Sausage flavorless/spiceless below mild and tasteless.

Bacon, meh, OK, one slice of bacon - really!

The ham was good! Just the right flavor between salty country ham and bland city ham! However, I wish there had been one slice that was twice as thick instead of two slices.

Eggs, meh, OK, I don't like it when your only choice of egg style is scrambled. Don't get me wrong, 80% of the time I'm going to order scrambled, but I like the choice of fried, sunny side up, over medium, poached,... for the other 20%.

The waffle was TOUGH, I could not cut it with a fork, I had to use the knife. And then the waffle was tasteless.

The first sip of the turtle latte was awful, I was expecting it to taste similar to a chocolate turtle candy, so when it wasn't what I was expecting, it was bad. Knowing this about myself, I cleared my expectations and tried again. It was really pretty good, just not a chocolate turtle flavor.

All in all, I won't...

I've gone to this place multiple times. The only two times my coffee order was right, was when I ordered my first drink the way it's made, or when I had to tell them my drink was wrong three times. The only modification I asked for after the first drink is no foam. I've ordered the same drink at least 5 times. Giving them the benefit of the doubt too many times. When I call them last week about the orders being wrong they said to let them know next time I go in and they'll make it right. I went in again, and they made the coffee right that time. The last time I go in, I tell the manager I got foam again. I was waiting for my drink to cool down a little before drinking it. While I was waiting on a to go order, I open my cup before drinking it and see that once again I got foam. I asked if they can top it off with regular coffee and he said "yeah, give me a sec". They were pretty busy and I understood that they were already working on a couple drinks, so I waited. He comes back and puts more steamed milk in it and says "are we good now?" I wasn't going to make a big deal in the store after already addressing multiple wrong orders over time. Just won't be going back again. The rewards system doesn't work half the time either. A business that makes coffee sets the day for most coffee drinkers. I can't trust to get a cup of coffee to go and it be right without looking. I don't take a drink of my coffee until I get to work. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would rather have coffee instead...
