Farmhouse Coffee & Cream — Restaurant in Huntsville

I am visiting Huntsville for training and as a coffee lover, I sought out the non-Sbux shops in the area.

Gypsy Coffee and Cream is a beautiful little coffee shop with all sorts of nice decor. There are several cozy sections within the shop that you can sit and view the scenery inside. There are lots of food options to go with their extensive coffee and tea selection. I saw a very tasty quiche and decided to go with that. The quiche came with a bowl of fresh fruit. I ordered an americano with a splash of steamed oat milk. The presentation of food and drink were exceptional.

The staff were very friendly and I noticed that I was given a discount on my order that I assumed was due to my military service (I was in uniform). Gypsy Coffee and Cream is a definite go-to coffee shop and I fully recommend taking the detour and going there over the cookie cutter...

I was rather looking forward to a good cup of coffee after a business meeting in Huntsville. After Googling coffee shops near me, Farmhouse Coffee & Cream popped up as a good option. I was a little disappointed to say the least. The facility is amazing - really well decorated and nicely laid out, however, the service was really not very good - the three staff members behind the counter, were more interested in talking to each other rather than to me, and I felt like I was interrupting their conversation. Bought an ice coffee here for the first time. I was surprised at the price, which was $4.60 for an ordinary cup of black ice coffee (nothing added) ordered to go. I noticed then that no prices were posted on the wall menu that is visible as you walk in. In a business near a university where many students are on tight budgets, I always appreciate it when prices are clearly displayed. Here that was not the case.
