Jefferson's — Restaurant in Huntsville

Went here for dinner with family- 3 people total. We arrived at roughly 6:00. It was busy, but it should be noted that other tables that entered after us in the same section were being serviced. The biggest issue hands down was the service. We were seated immediately- great- and then did not have a waiter for over 10+ minutes before eventually we got up and talked with the hostess. Thankfully we got a waitress not long after, being able to finally order food and drinks.

Appetizer: What was supposed to be “bottomless” chips with queso and salsa did not in fact end up bottomless, and when we got our entrees the basket was simply taken away. Side note, the salsa is genuinely phenomenal, so cudos for that.

The entrees were… okay, nothing worth writing home about. Personally I would say wingstop provided a better, crunchier wing with better sauce options.

Order 1: 12 wing basket with teriyaki and hot honey citrus. I could not tell the difference between either wing in terms of flavor, which was incredibly disappointing because this either meant I only got one flavor or the flavor was so similar that it didn’t matter. The fries were okay, nothing great or terrible.

Order 2: 6 piece wings with honey bbq wings which did not taste good according to them. Sadly didn’t hear much else on their thoughts.

Order 3: chicken bacon and ranch wrap, which was not bad but not great either. The ranch was decent but did not help with how dry the wrap was.

Final verdict: Overall, decent if you’re simply that hungry but otherwise a disappointing experience. Slow service with near avoidance for 10 minutes, coupled with mediocre food and relatively high prices ($10 appetizer, nearly $12 a person) made this a “meh” at...

I have a medical condition in which my eyes are red, all the time. I provided a doctor's note for them, the managers and owner to quell any worry that I was ever under the influence. The day after, I was bright into the manager office and questioned by 3 managers, which felt like an interrogation, about my condition that I provided the doctors note for. Father's Day I was scheduled to work a double. They assigned 4 seats to me. 2 tables and 2 booths. One table and one booth sat under their air conditioning duct that is exposed due to their industrial style look. It has condensated over night and there was puddles of water all over my booth table and my small table. I asked them how was I to serve people anything when their sitting under that, with water dripping on their food and drinks and themselves. So they said they'd close the tables. I asked if I'd get at least one more table assigned to me to make up for losing those 2. They said, no. I'm a father of 3. My son was born 2 days prior to Father's Day. I took the job to supplement the household income since my wife wasn't working anymore. So I quit, so I could go home and help her with the baby. She had a C-section and could barely walk. A couple weeks later, my wife applied for food stamps because of obvious reasons. We were denied because I was STILL on Jefferson's payroll. I tried to contact Jake Lund and he ignored it blocked me, one of the two. I recently tried to contact him with my wife's phone and he hung up on me. I just need them to do their part and take me off their payroll and stop...

We will not going back for many reasons!

We sat with out a server for 20 minutes. Our server then was very rude and just did not seem like she wanted to be there. We heard her talking very loudly at the drink station while we walked to the restroom saying some very inappropriate things that should not be said in a public area. She did not refill our drinks at all, and was just walking around talking instead of checking on us. Our food was cold when it came out, and we wanted to tell our server but she was never around!

The girl at the front (dark hair, she is the one who sat us) was very loudly complaining about how much she hated working there and how she was quitting and not coming back after tonight, in my opinion that is very unprofessional and if she hates it so much she shouldn’t be up front where people can hear her...
