Mexican Express — Restaurant in Huntsville

Don't hesitate to give Mexican Express a try.

We moved across town and hadn't been there lately, but we sure have missed it. We made the trip today and am glad to report that nothing has changed. The food is still excellent. The beans and rice are the best in town. If you like your beans thick, dark and cheesy {think El Palacio) you are sure to love them. The entrees are just as good - thick and meaty, and a really good value.

If you call in your order a few minutes in advance you will be in and out in a flash. The place has been here for a very long time, so the owners know how to do things right. They pretty much have it down to a science. We will definitely make the trip more often from now on.

Oh yes... this is a take-out/delivery place only, so "atmosphere" is pretty much irrelevant.

I have been a patron of this establishment for over 8 years. The staff is the best you could ever have the pleasure of interacting with. They present you with a smile when you pick up your order. They are very pleasant and courteous when taking your order over the phone or in person. The size portions are more than enough for two. The food was freshly prepared and I love the many choices of specials there is something within all price ranges. The portion sizes are generous. I love them because they are generous with the ground beef without requesting and paying extra for it. If you want a Tacobell walk and eat burrito that's not how it's be done here. There burrito is more like a Tacobell enchirito back in the old days but supersized. They have onions, and sour cream, ECT... but usually have to ask for it depending on...
