Tipsy Tios Cantina & Grill — Restaurant in Huntsville

I ordered the same drink I always order…which is a whiskey and Coke ,double , tall. When I ordered the second drink….Server comes to the table apologized for the wait and let me know. They just had a shift change . First drink was perfect , the second drink taste like straight soda. My daughter tasted it she said the same thing taste like soda and she does not drink. I let the waitress know she comes over and she attempts to fix it. I told her I didn’t want it that’s cool don’t worry about it. She brings me another drink anyway. I try that drink taste just like the second drink straight soda. I let her know. Hey I don’t want it. I took a very small sip out of it, she goes and tells her manager the bartender comes over and tells me he made all 3 drinks ( mind you the server just told me there was a shift change) and he made them all the same and that have to pay for both drinks that I did not drink nor did I ask for then proceeds to tell me that there’s nothing they can do I have to pay it. so I tell him then we have a problem because I’m not paying for those drinks period!!!! The bartender walks over to the owner tells the owner. The owner tells me I can never come back. I told him I had no intentions of coming back anyway, I’m still not paying for it. So of course I did not pay for it but the fact that they tried to make me pay for two drinks that I did not ask for and did not drink is...

Yesterday was my 1st visit ever to Huntsville and my friend and I couldn’t decide where to go and we were so lucky to have found this gem!! We walk in and we’re greeted by smiles and good ole Texas friendliness. There was live music going, Plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). My friend and I sat at the bar where we were greeted by Charlie (one of the best bartenders if not the best I’ve met). He was very warm, friendly and personable and listened to us talk about our Jeeps. Haha. Any who. We ordered the Papitas Fritas (French fries) with carnitas and an order of fried mushrooms. Everything was delicious, but what truly surprised me was that the carnitas popped with flavor! Anyone that has made carnitas knows that to get the flavor to marinate all the way thru can sometimes be challenging. I gave 4 stars because they had one little downfall. The women’s restroom is tiny and when we visited was dirty and looked like it had not been checked in on for a bit. The sink was also cracked all the way thru but none the less those things are minor compared to all the great. We will definitely be going...

CHECK YOUR BAR TAB OR PAY AS YOU GO. I've been there several times for food and drink. The food is good, the drinks flow, but my server was inattentive. I had to chase her down and ask for tater sauce and cocktail sauce on a fish n shrimp plate. Shouldn't it come with?? If not then tell me there's an extra charge cus I can definitely do without. Then I got charged for that. Also what's this extra fee on my bill? Tab fee or open food fee?? Nickel and dime me for what? Charging fees for nothing is not good at all. I spend a lot on food and drink but not here anymore. From now on I'll go eat dinner somewhere else and just have a few drinks here then go elsewhere. The competitor is on the next block. Otherwise this place was entertaining until I got screwed on my bill. Oh and I didn't notice it...
