
Went there for Homecoming and had a good time.. Very nice stadium. Nice to go to a smaller game and get more of a family type of feeling.
Sam Houston is a pretty cool school. There are about 90 cheer leaders and their band is pretty good. And it doesn't hurt that they are National Champs.
The pavilion is also pretty cool. It looked like they were have a blast, but we didn't go up there. You can sit in general seating, on the grass, or buy specific seats. They even had Angus burgers that looked delicious.

The home side has the option for seatback or bleacher seating. Tickets are reasonably priced and students with active cards get in free. The football team is one of the best in the Southland conference and highly worth going out and enjoying the tailgate and watching the game. The only issue with the stadium is that with some games, usually the later ones, the sun will be in your eyes for about 30 to 45 minutes if you sit on the visitors side.
