I have dine there yesterday during lunch time. I really enjoyed the atmosphere the place isn't huge but nothing wrong with that, feels cozy. The lady who worked there in the front by herself is the most sweetest person I have met. It took her a bit to let us know we can sit anywhere but that was no issue since she was hustling her best. Once we got seated she had the best customer service than any other restaurant I been at, she actually enjoys what she does. I had ordered the Gyoza, Hawaii roll, and fly roll. and omg..... It was DELICIOUS. I'm huge on sushi and love it so much so having sushi here for the first time in Huntsville was the best choice I have made. Many people I've met told me they never been here just because it "looks sketch" but I assure you the people there are wonderful and I feel like if you like Asian/sushi food of any kind here is a place you should definitely consider. These folks deserve to get more attention. Obviously I have had other sushi places here in Huntsville which is why I came here to try something new and It was the best...
Read moreIt's not the kind of place you go if you're in a hurry because it seems to be just the one couple working there, but you couldn't ask for better food or friendlier service! We went for my brother's birthday & shared a piece of the cheesecake my sister-in-law made with the woman who served us (and prepared all of our cold food.) When it came time to pay the bill the lady insisted that the tip was too much because we had shared our celebration with her & made her feel like part of the family for a moment. When I insisted that the tip was NOT too much she actually grabbed my wallet & put some of the $ back in! This is a place where good people are feeding everyone good food for a reasonable price. There were 8 in our party & we ordered a TON of food. Total bill (including the part of the tip she actually let me give her) was $150. We will...
Read moreWe should have left when we pulled into the parking lot but you never know, sometimes the dives are the best spots. Not in this case however. Don’t look around too much, it’s filthy, especially the ceiling fans. Despite our “gut” instinct we decided to give it a try. Plus the lady we assumed was an owner was super friendly and very sweet. We ordered sushi and steak and chicken hibachi. The miso was gross and the salad was bathed in dressing. The sushi was OK but the hibachi was disgusting. The meat was clearly cheap cuts that were marinated too long so the consistency was chewy, kind of like plastic. Everything was drenched in sauce which was way too salty. The rice was very dry and flavorless. Maybe just order the sushi and ask them to go light on the sauces, otherwise, I...
