It should be negative 5 stars. It’s that bad. I take my granddaughter to church on Wed nights and afterward we tend to go to Wendy’s for a Frosty and fries. It’s our thing. Last few times, service has been extraordinarily slow. I’m talking an hour in total to get a couple frosty’s and fries. And we were 3rd car in line. Last night, besides the usual lengthy time in line, our order was messed up after repeating it 3-4 times. When we eventually pulled around to pay and get the order (which was wrong) the smell wafting out of the place was nothing less than vile. It smelled horrible, not simply old grease, truly vile. I’m not sure what the odor was, just a level 15 out of 10 for being gross. The guy took my money, looked confused and couldn’t manage the change. Eventually he managed it. Meanwhile another guy, who moved really slow, made a chocolate caramel swirl instead of the vanilla caramel swirl frosty. It wasn’t even worth saying anything by that point. The fries were cold and the employees colder. No politeness of any sort. Because it took so long just to get to the window, which was only tolerable because I enjoy my granddaughters company, I asked if it was just the two of them working. He had me repeat the question twice then mumbled “there’s 3 of us.” Wendy’s, keep in mind that on Wednesday nights, right around the corner on Namce Rd, Church of the Highlamds lets out and lots of folks go right to Wendy’s. But not anymore. Last few times have been that awful. We’ll go to Freddy’s or Culver’s. Neither is quite as conveniently located but they’re MUCH more suited to take and provide orders in somewhere near reasonable time. You have a management/employee problem at this Wendy’s and unless it changes, and that smell is cleaned up, we won’t be back. I usually give fast food places a little leeway because it’s hard to operate and work one. But not so hard that you can’t do better. What we experienced was total incompetence by a couple employees who clearly had no idea what they were doing and didn’t even pretend to care. Good luck reorganizing. It’s overdue. And get the place cleaned properly. Or make your employees shower. That...
Read moreI always try and give people grace but this is always the case when I come to this particular Wendy's. I don't know what it is about this Wendy's but if this store were the representation for all Wendy's then the franchise would certainly go out of business. I have been here on more than one occasion and it is always the same. The customer service is horrible. Pulling up to the drive-thru, the greeting is always with an attitude as if the customer is a nuisance and the worker doesn't want to be bothered. When I pull up to the window to get my food, the window opens and the most rancid smell bombards my nose like the place isn't being thoroughly cleaned. To add insult to injury, the people at the window don't say hello or greet you, which doesn't surprise me given the type of greeting that was given when I pulled up to the speaker to place my order. They simply give the total, if the payment hadn't been made at the previous window, and then just hand you your food then quickly close the window. I have worked in customer service jobs before and fast food and know they can be difficult and we have been in an era of places needing more employees; however, that's no excuse if all these things are wrong and happen all the time. I only patronize this Wendy's because it is close to my house but from now on I will either not come or just go to another one, even if it takes more time to get there. Please, someone take accountability and responsibility to...
Read moreWalked in said hello. The cashier he just looked at me, said nothing. I ordered my son's and mine food. My chicken nuggets and fries cold. I kindly asked for them to be replaced. He told me it would be 3 minutes. After 5 minutes, I went stood at the counter. One of the 5 people working in the kitchen, looked at me gave me wicked smile. Then he got a box of fries, took one out put in his mouth and did that twice, and sat back down. while looking and softly laughing and looking at me. I stood and watched to make sure when I got my finally got my remake making sure they didn't do anything to our food. Then when the worker went to put my fries in the box, he picked up the tongs and very slowly put fries in the carton while looking at me. You know It's A Shame The Manager Or Shift Manager Wasn't There. They hire anyone that really doesn't want to work. Management need to just to fill a shift. I worked for Wendy's back in 1979 unti 1980. Back then everything was fresh beef pattied, fresh vegetables sliced, Chili made from Scratch every day from a recipe. We as worker's took pride in our work and had positive feedback. We were always friendly and cared about fabulous customer service. It's gone to the drain the last 15 years. We Will...
