O'Sheas Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Hurst

A server here begged for me to buy him a drink. How it came about was I wanted to order 4 shots for my compadres when he continues to bark back “oh 5 shots?” Multiple times when I asked for four I even counted 1,2,3,4 FOUR and then my friends caught on and mentioned the server wanted a shot. Even after I kept telling him no not 5, FOUR. It was not an open invitation. Then, I had been warned afterward by my group that he had been begging every table he has for shots so he can get drunk by the time he gets off. I got him a drink by mistake, it was not my intention I told him no several times. When the bill came he charged me for the drink he drank, which when he drank it he had to turn around and hide it from the other staff. So that was naturally, his tip. I tipped $1 as good will considering he drank a $15 drink I was paying for. He saw, and came back and made a snarky comment about nice tip $1 for a $65 tab (of which $15 was from his drink he drank, and obliged himself to). After he begged me for a drink he had the audacity to expect me to buy him drinks and tip him egregiously? No that’s not how it works. Why would I pay for a servers alcoholic beverage, and tip 20% on his drink that he drank? Is he hanging out or working? He was not particularly keen on attentiveness either. The female I spoke to about the matter of drunkenness educated me about their rule of two drinks per staff per day. Though the gentleman’s abuse of their two drink policy for staff was apparent as I saw him drinking more than two beverages at multiple tables and the group I was with who were on location longer mentioned to me the sever asking other tables the same thing, pushing to get drinks for himself. The employee told me she had already gotten onto the individual about his lack of work ethic previously in the evening as well. Before this I had not had any issue with this establishment.

Emo night .... Went there with wife and friends Played pool For a while got beers wings. Everything was going great I started liking this place Wife and her friend were by The stage So I went to go join them Shortly after standing there dancing a little. I felt somebody shoving on my back. I thought it was just somebody else excited dancing When I turned around it was an employee telling me to move aggressively I tried telling her next time. O'Sheas in hurst just had me kicked out because I had posted a negative review before about another past experience getting kicked out by the owner's girlfriend. It seems as long as you're a buddy of the bar you're going to be ok. I was talking to a guy in a white and robe and house shoes(because that's ok in a bar) when this occurred about 1:50 AM . I've been coming to this establishment for 10+ years(since it was lonnegans). Evidently all you have to do is disagree with the person who thinks they're in charge(THE CHUBBY RUDE BARTENDER WITH THE OWL GLASSES) (I only give that description because there's a thin one with glasses that is great and I don't want them confused). She told me I'm never allowed there again. I'll be laughing when I'm there next week......I promote this bar and their bands. I hope she sees this and loses her job.
