HORRIBLE AND ARROGANT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND, SEEMINGLY, PRICE GOUGING! I would give zero stars if I could.

The individual who took my order, on 2/26/2021 around 4:30 PM, tried to charge me prices up to three dollars more than the online menu prices. It felt or was, also, almost as though he was making up prices as we talked or trying to scam me. He even did not want to tell me the itemized costs and the amount of the taxes, after I constantly requested it. Instead, he kept trying to rush the transaction, shouting and repeating the total price only, and trying to force me to QUICKLY except it.

After, repeatedly, asking to talk with the owner and requesting the owner's name and contact information, he put me on hold, came back minutes later, and told me the owner was not there; I didn't need to talk to no owner because he was the manger; and that whatever problem I had I HAD to talk with him about it. He went on repeating and shouting, "I AM THE MANAGER, I AM THE MANAGER", as though trying to stress how big he and his position was. At some point, this whole ordeal felt like a joke. He did tell me the owners' name is "Hosea", if that is true.

While trying to talk reasonable or professional to him, he quickly mumbled under his breath, "Oh My God!" Then, he asked me, "You want the food or no?" When I responded for him to cancel my order, he QUICKLY terminated the call. Needless to say, his behavior and how he handled business felt and came across as arrogant, disrespectful, aggressive, ignorant, (again) rushing to complete the transaction, illegal, and like it needs to be properly investigated.

This kind of behavior and service are not needed, helpful, and deserved for the community, especially under these times we're living in and limited resources. I have had or experienced better from Avy's. If the owner of Avy's Pizza reads and responds to this posts or posts his proper contact information (even on his website), I will responsibly reach out again and share more details about...

WORST customer service!! When we previously ordered from Avy's, our pizza was messed up. The cheese and toppings had slid off of half the pizza. We used to get the deal for a large pizza, fries, and 2 liter pop. They didn't have any 2 liter diets, and we don't drink regular pop, and their solution was to send 2 cans of Diet Coke (not even close to the same amount!) and the pop expired over a year ago! I called to complain, and at first the guy admitted that the delivery drivers like to drive fast and probably braked too hard and that's why the pizza was messed up. As for the pop he claimed that's how he got it from the delivery truck (which I HIGHLY doubt). He then asked me if I was sure, and said I should just try it and see if it tastes ok. It was like he didn't believe me, and I even said he could and should go check the remainder of the cans. I said something had to be done, and after way too much back and forth, he offered me $5 off my next order. Not enough to compensate for what happened in my opinion, but it was better than nothing. Then when I tried to order again, he refused to give me the $5 off, saying that there was nothing in their system about it. When I reminded him about what happened he admitted to remembering the situation, but STILL wouldn't honor the $5 off that HE told me he would give me! Needless to say they lost some pretty frequent customers seeing as how we will never be giving them...

We've been getting our pizza from Avy's since Capri Pizza burned down this past winter. NO MORE! The past several times Avy's has fallen short on delivery, with delays explained away that are no longer believable. Tonight we ordered our usual pizza and were told it would take about 30 minutes (I knew to expect 45 minutes as realistic). However, after an hour went by I called them back wanting to know why I hadn't gotten our pizza yet. The "manager" explained that they were very busy but that it was out for delivery and should arrive soon, and would be hot - which I insisted it should be. 37 minutes later we got our cold pizza. I called Avy's back and complained but got no apologies, no satisfaction whatsoever. I told him that as this was a repeat problem with them I would not be ordering from them again. He said okay, not really caring about losing a customer. We'll get our pizza from somewhere else...
