Birrieria Ocotlan — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I would give 0 stars if possible. Me and my family bought 4 orders of the large birria 2 days ago. We finished it all, including kids. Well since then we all have had food poisoning. Bad diarrhea and stomach pain. I called the establishment today to let them know and before even getting to say what the problem was , the lady responds “ why do you buy so much birria in the first place” never have I encountered a more rude person. After telling her about our food poisoning, she responded “well nobody has ever had that problem and you don’t need that much for 6 people.” I was mind blown at how rude and careless she was. I’d advice to stay away from here. There are many places with better birria and so much better service. Oh and I almost forgot something I overlooked once I was there, people with no gloves. Grabbing the cilantro and onions and then cashing people and never once washing...

Easy quick and delicious. It's something about a place that has perfected their dish and this birria is perfect. I'm a fan of a restaurant that smells hit you before walking in the door. We were greeted with delicious meat seasoning and cilantro. The team behind the counter were friendly and kind with my limited hearing and accent understanding...lol. I ordered 4 quesabirria tacos and a beef cheek taco😋. Everything was plentiful and delicious. We were stuffed after the tacos and can't wait to go back.
