Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

My man and i stopped by Charleys and ordered 2 Philly cheesesteaks, 10pc boneless wings (5 lemon pepper, 5 buffalo), and the Ultimate Fries. We waited about 15 minutes, but the food came out fresh and hot — definitely worth the wait.

The Philly cheesesteaks were fresh and flavorful. I’d give them a solid 7.5/10 not mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying.

The boneless lemon pepper wings 9.5/10, no question. Perfectly seasoned and crispy — they were really good especially paired with the ranch

The buffalo wings had a nice flavor too — not too overpowering, which I appreciated since I’m not usually a buffalo fan. I’d still give them a 6/10 from someone who doesn’t usually like that flavor.

The ranch was solid, and the Ultimate Fries were fire. Crispy, cheesy, and loaded — easily an 8.5/10.

Absolutely not. All these reviews are cap. This is the worst philly I have EVER had. The meat doesn’t even taste like real meat. I had the chicken teriyaki sandwich - this is so salty. The cheese not even melted. The meat tastes like something you would heat in the microwave. My husband ordered the regular Philly - his sandwich has no flavor. The fries are cool - the lemonade is good. The actual sandwiches are trash. All of these reviews are either people who have never had the Great Steak place on 500 W. I keep trying to give this place a chance and I get disappointed every time. The people are nice but this food is terrible. Id already given up on the traditional cheeses teams and beef sandwiches.
