Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

Been to this location over 20 times. Pizza is delicious but you better hope they don’t make a mistake because if you acknowledge it, the manager or owner be disrespect you. Picked up my normal sausage/pepperoni pizza, got home. Kids at a few slices, I then checked it out and it was a chicken pizza. I called a young lady told me I could come pick up a replacement and keep the wrong order. I then received a call from the manager saying bring the wrong order back. After I got to the location, the manager aggressively said, “Next time I get the wrong order don’t eat it and bring it back”. There’s literally no benefit to me after paying $40 for a pizza, eat a few slices, drive back to the location and request a new pizza. Maybe it’s because I’m black. The last straw occurred with the “owner”. I ordered a bunch of food, used a reward on their site for a free cheese bread. Went in store and asked for my standard veterans discount that they offer. The owner basically told me that he didn’t have to give me anything and he already took off money for the cheese bread. He was very very disrespectful. I Love this spot. Food is 5 stars in my opinion. They reason I'm giving 3 stars is because J.B. , i'm assuming he's a manager, turned his back away from the other employees, lifted his shirt up and scratched his lower back near his rear end. He did this while his gloves were still on. He then proceeded to handle cash money. I was shocked he didn't change his gloves immediately after. Once that passed, I asked him was he gonna change his gloves and he looked baffled that I said it. He did change them once he was confronted. I really wanted to LOVE this pizza. As you can see from the pic it looks delicious however their is flavor missing. In my opinion, it lacks that Italian flavor. I tried to narrow it down. I tasted the pepperoni it was ok. I tasted the cheese it was ok I even tried the butter flavor crust it was ok. I think it's the sauce. It lacks that bold flavor like most pizza's. 3 stars also due to the cost. This pizza is not cheap and with them not delivering to my address which is literally 4 city blocks away (E 51st) I paid 31.00 via GrubHub for a 4 slice pizza.
