Sammy's Breakfast — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

First time spending money here and NEVER AGAIN. Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered two separate orders the first being a (big 2 French toast eggs scrambled with cheese bacon crispy) And the second order being (a ham and egg sandwich on rye with pickles on the side and a can of coke). After receiving both orders and giving the ham sandwich order to its recipient, we realized there was no coke. I returned with my receipt to retrieve the can of coke only to be told that the food I was given was someone else’s order that was suppose to be the ham and cheese order. So they told me keep the mix up food and here’s your can of coke and the correct second order. Once I returned with the correct food so I thought for the SECOND TIME. There was no pickles on the side that I was charged extra for. So the recipient for the ham and cheese order called in and notified them of that and it was handled. After all the back and forth I finally get to eat my own food I realize there is no cheese in my eggs. So I call back to notify them of that and they can’t take my name for a later date to correct my orde I have to come back today after I’ve doubled back already….. so you want me to come back for a third time after you messed up both orders. With no type of compensation at all. Absolutely the worst first time experience I have ever had at a breakfast place. Then I was accused of lying about not getting the can of coke that wasn’t even in my order and I don’t even drink coke…....

I dont mine spending money on food if its worth it but they are too expensive and the lady seem like she was over charging me on purpose she charge me a dollar to pull my taco stuff on the side an instead of her telling me that sour cream come on it she charge me another dollar for that,an almost 14 dollars for eggs bacon and rice i look in the window after that they have rice an eggsfor $2.99 when i could have just add sum bacon maybe...

I ordered a steak Omelette eggs over easy when I say it was one of the best things that I ever tasted. I’m not lying to you. It was cooked to perfection and had great seasoning. The presentation looked delicious Whoever the cook is or chef he or she is a keeper and can cook his or her A_ _ off. You have a customer for life and I work for the University of Chicago Hospital and I will definitely pass the word around because omg...
