The food is really good, but the service was terrible. This was my first time coming and I arrived as soon as they opened. Before being greeted I had to listen to the cashier complain about a body part hurting. They don’t ask you if it’s your first time or pretend to be excited that you’re spending your money with them. My friend and I ordered the same thing but her order took significantly longer. She was #4, they were handing out orders in the 50’s, but I had my food. There was no apology for the wait, and no one cared until she asked for a refund. We were even asked not to stand near the sign for picking up orders but only after we complained. Even after that it seemed like the attitude was just take your food and go. I hope the owner wasn’t there because I can’t imagine hearing people complain about service and not address it, but I’ve also noticed that the bad reviews don’t have replies. Usually would give them 5 stars but today will be the last day I spend my money with them. For the second time, I tried to place a catering order and got the run around. One person said you gotta do it 48hrs ahead of time. I said well the last time I tried to place it weeks in advance, you all claimed to be booked(this was when my daughter was graduating 8th grade) that’s why I am here today. She asks another person are you still taking orders, she just ups and said not for proms. I say what does it being a prom have to do with it but ok. No one asked the date I was trying to order for nor did anyone open a book to look to see if they were booked up. My first visit to this place, the food was good and I had no issue but the second time I visited this place was a little different. I ordered the jerk chicken wrap and it came with chips, I noticed that the chips had already been eaten by a mouse 🐭 or rat 🐀 before I could open them. I hate that happened bc I enjoyed the food the first time but now it has me wondering about the cleanliness of this place. I was excited to find a Black Owned Business I could eat at regularly whenever I ate out but this was completely unacceptable! How can you serve your people, the very people that help your business thrive and put money in your pockets contaminated food?
