Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I normally order lots of food from the Pizza Hut Store on Woodruff and generally have no complaints.

However upon this order I had received it was absolutely awful. I got my general order I normally get and when it arrived it was cold. The cheese had already been set on the top and the sauce was around room temperature.

On top of that, I selected “No Contact Delivery” and usually they leave it at my doorstep and give me a call and are six feet away from the pizza usually to make sure I received it. The delivery driver I had today decided to ignore that selection and had rang my doorbell and knocked on my door and wanted to hand deliver the pizza to me. I explained I had selected no contact and he then began to make rude comments and gave the worst attitude imaginable. He then left the order on my bench and walked away irritated.

We are still currently experiencing a pandemic and the fact that COVID safety protocols aren’t being followed is horrendous.

I called the number of the store and asked to speak to a manager and the man on the phone told me he was the store manager. I explained the situation and let him know it took over an hour for my food to be delivered on top of the no contact issue and he told me that he’ll “have a chat” with his driver and went on to complain about how no one wants to work and he only had the one driver with thirteen orders to get out.

I understand being short staffed, but it is completely unprofessional to be acceptable of your driver’s behavior on top of unloading your own personal grievances about your job to me (your customer)...

Decided to order pizza hut for my birthday...unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. The crust had not risen enough and was flat, dry and hard (not to mention, the pizza was ice cold by the time it reached us. This location apparently outsourced to doordash, so the pizza was not insulated during delivery). The flavor of the pizza toppings was normal, but we exclusively order from pizza hut because we like their crust. Ended up throwing it away because it was too difficult to chew through the hard crust. Unsure if I'd order from this location again...

Edit: I SHOULD HAVE NEVER GIVEN THIS LOCATION A SECOND CHACE! I ordered two pizzas, garlic sticks with dips & wings. None of the items i ordered were correct upon delivery. Both of the pizza crusts were the wrong type (and were thin/undercooked) and toppings were missing. I got the wrong kind of breadsticks and the wrong type of dips. The wings were tiny and arrived with no sauce at all.

At this point, I'm pretty sure they gave me someone else's order, since the only aspect of my order that was correct was the pizza had pepperoni. That's it. I tried to call them to see if we got the wrong order, but no one answered. Unfortunately, due to food allergies and receiving the wrong items, I could not eat half the food I paid for. Super disappointed.

This is the ONLY place on Earth that has ever screwed-up my order worse than Dominos. They never use enough cheese so I ordered EXTRA CHEESE, and PAID FOR IT. Order arrived with, you're not going to believe this, NO CHEESE !!!!! How the heck do you make a Pizza with NO CHEESE !?!??!? We thought we must be mistaken, because NOBODY would screw up like that, especially not after we PAID for "extra cheese", but some poking and prodding with our fingers revealed that we had red pizza sauce on top of white pizza dough, and NO CHEESE anywhere on the pizza. Called to complain and the manager told us we could bring it back for an exchange. REALLY? We ordered "delivery" so we wouldn't have to stop work and go get food, and then we still had to wait an HOUR to get the food, and NOW we're supposed to stop work, get in the car, drive down there, and wait ANOTHER HOUR, all because THEY screwed up? I told the manager we wanted a refund, but I was told the "exchange" was the only thing we could get, and only if we returned the no-cheese pizza fail that was delivered to us. Now I only use Papa Tom's or Stoplight Pizza when we need pizza. Never had any problems with those...
