Me and my friend were walking in subway because we were both hungry and hadn't eaten dinner. We walked in at around Tuesday the 13 8:30 with one person in line and a door dash employee waiting to pick up his food. Me and my other friend were waiting to meet a third friend and deciding what to eat. We were waiting as all employees were busy making the door dash and the man in line's sandwich (which we did not mind) when the shortest and skinniest employee with what seemed to be Napoleon syndrome was making a sandwich and raised his voice slightly saying how much he hated making the specific sandwich which had just barely been ordered. It soon became time turn to order and the skinny employee who I'll refer to as Ethan Aproached me he asked me what I wanted to eat and at that point I had picked out what I had wanted to eat but as soon as I entered the counter I had forgotten and searching the board to see what I had chosen I finally found the Black Forest ham sandwich and I asked nicely I think I want a black forest hanm sandwich. He said okay and started putting the ham on he then asked what kind of cheese I would like I said Swiss as is custom with a black forest ham sandwich then after he put the ham on he looked towards the floor and said very quietly toast. I looked it and I said what because it was very hard to hear and I was not sure what he was saying I was not sure if this man had had taken four scoops of pre-workout before coming into work or if this man had taken a slight dose of cocaine he looked at me in the eyes with a glare that made me fear for my soul and said do you want the bun toasted in an almost growling voice I looked at him and I said yes shakily he said okay that makes my job easier in a very nice way. This calmed my nerves a little thing that he was still happy. then finished my sandwich and asked what other things I would like on it I said lettuce tomato. he said do you want any condiments, male or mustard? I said yes mail would be fine I moved over to the cash area for my sandwich to be done and another employee greeted me and took my order calmly asked if I wanted anything else. I responded with no and gave an 18% tip at that moment I looked over after I done paying and just finished grabbing while my friend who got his sandwich who asked for white bread had his sandwich wrapped up and brought over to the cash table while Ethan started putting it into the back and the man on the cash register started putting into the back as well they tussled for a minute when Ethan yelled at a very loud volume put the sandwich in the freaking bag! Words were censored here. I slowly backed away from the table scared that I was going to get shot my friend finished paying for his things and also backed away while we were waiting for our third friend who could not have gluten ordered a salad we were sitting there waiting as the employee angrily made the other sandwiches we both took our sandwiches and our friend when he got the salad back to the car and we opened up our sandwiches and I who would asked for a Black Forest ham with ham Mayo the bun toasted lettuce and tomato had also received mustard enough mustard that it could be said that I had gotten a bag of mustard with the sandwich instead of a sandwich with mustard this Disturbed me as I enjoy mustard in small doses but considering that this had so much mustard that my insides were burning as I was eating it I was concerned my friend behind me who had gotten a 6 in sandwich with white bread opened his up to find that he only had Italian bread which was the same bread that I had this concerned him as well but he did not care and said it tasted good anyway then my friend with the salad opened up his salad and came to find that the salad was not chopped at all and with that I'd say that the service was great and the employee was scary we both walked out of the store deciding that we would go to the subway on 17th from now on with a nice old lady who...
Read moreOne of the Sandwich Artists had an attitude from the time I walked in. Very "what-do-you-want" type, and kept nearly all of her questions to one word: "cheese? toasted?". Not one smile from her. It was clear she didn't want to be working here.
There were two ladies working and the one wearing the red shirt was a stark contrast to this lady (who wore their green shirt). While I was writing this review, several people came in and she was very friendly and polite.
The food was pretty good overall, except the macadamia cookies were very hard. I went back up to buy some oatmeal raisin cookies and the same lady handled that transaction by not looking me in the eye once and shoved the cookies across the counter toward me after I paid.
The restaurant was very dirty. I was the only one in the restaurant while I ate and nobody came out to clean tables or floors. I had to clean my own space to have a place to eat.
I've been here several times and have often left disappointed but this time takes the cake. I'll probably take my business to Channing Way next time.
Two stars since the red shirt lady was really trying to give great service and the food was overall good. Negative customer service lady caused the loss of 2 stars and 1 star lost due...

I am writing to express my disgust and disappointment with a visit to Subway earlier tonight May, 22, 2024. My daughter-in-law ordered a sandwich and was horrified as she was eating to find a COCKROACH inside! Can you imagine biting into a sandwich and finding a live insect?!
The experience was not only unsettling, but also raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the store. We immediately brought it to the attention of the staff, who seemed apologetic, and offered to replace the food.... No!! They seemed a bit reluctant to give a refund but they did give us one.
Needless to say, we will not be returning to this Subway location again and would caution others to be vigilant when ordering food from this establishment.
Subway, you need to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that your customers receive the quality and standards they expect...
