I came in around 8:30 or 8:35 tonight and the girl at the register told me they were out of chicken katsu when I ordered it and Iām pretty sure itās because they were already ready to close. So I had to order something I didnāt come here for. I wasnāt going anywhere else because I had a sick child at home and I was picking up something easy for my other child because this is one of our favorite spots.
Then a call came in and she silenced it on the first ring. Then they called right back and she reluctantly answered the phone like she was annoyed they called⦠everything the person was ordering they kept saying no because they are shutting down the grill already, sorry I canāt understand you, etc. She got off the phone and the cook let out a loud āuuughā the cashier said I know! She said she was so sorry to the cook because they had ordered vegetables or something and repeatedly said he wanted chicken breast and I told him no. And the cook said good!
I felt pretty unwelcome. The thing is that she lied to me without hesitation so the cook didnāt have to dirty up the clean grill when IT WASN'T TIME TO CLOSE. At least she told the other people the truth. That they wonāt make it because they were closing.
Iām disappointed that I couldnāt get what my child wanted and I didnāt even get sweet and sour for the egg rolls. I spent around $20 for egg rolls and fried rice. Ouch! I donāt leave bad reviews unless something pretty bad happens. I wish I hadnāt ordered. The bsu location is my least...

Update - after their response from the business, my comments still stand. This review came after multiple times going to the BROADWAY location. It might not be fast food, but it shouldnāt be a 30 minute wait. I also wrote my review as a driver for grub hub as well. Every time I go here Iām waiting forever, and if I have another delivery in my car, it gets cold from waiting over 30 minutes for food. When I was just there to order food today, there was a grub hub driver sitting there and said he was there for 25 minutes waiting and his other orders were getting cold as well, so itās not just me as a driver who has issues here. I immediately called the store to get it canceled and someone named Mist answered the phone but said my orders were ready and he has no way of cancelling it. He said I could give his manager a call whom wasn't there. He also told me his manager was named Joe but couldn't give any last name. I called "Joe" and it went to a default cell phone voicemail and the call was never returned. The food is expensive for what you get and if you need any kind of customer service whatsoever you get the worst treatment. Now I'm out $30 for two bowls and a soda and also a tip that they make you pay up front when you order. They straight stole money from me without even a call to make it right somehow. Terrible treatment of a regular customer and now I have to get the charge cancelled through my credit card...
