They actually cook their Philly cheese steaks on a grill right infront of you not a small grill pan an actual big commercial kitchen grill! There bread is so much softer than Jimmy's and the sizes offered are reasonable. Prices as anywhere could always be lower but its the world now days.[instead of trying to raise eachothers prices try seeing who can go the lowest] depending on what sandwich you choose depends on the amount of time it takes to prepare for you. The employees are always friendly and they seem to work well as a team. I do enjoy seeing multiple employees compared to other places that will leave just one. The lines can get long due to the popularity so try and hit em up during off hours if you want it faster. The ingredients are fresh and they slice the meat in front of you and the cheese. Over all a great place to grab a bite. 4 stars not 5 due to portions of meat could be a hair more and the cheese could be either cut thicker or add two layers. I can seriously hold a piece of cheese up and see threw it easily it just makes things foggy/hazy looking and at the price I don't think adding just a hair more meat and cheese would hurt. But thats most sandwich shops. There is only a couple others that actually do the opposite and add way to much meat lol. Everyplace is stingy on the cheese though lol. Yes ill eat there again and yes I'd recommend them as a great place to stop at lunch time. But beware the line can get out the door so get there early or wait till after the rush or call ahead. Yes they do...
Read moreNow, THAT'S how you make a philly cheese steak sandwich! Today was the first time i tried the food here, and i am quite pleased. The veggies tasted fresh, the sauce was flavorful, the meat was juicy and tender... it got a bit salty, as i got to the end of the sandwich, but, i was enjoying the flavor so much, that i realized too late, that i probably should've made 2 meals of that sandwich, as, even the regular size was QUITE filling... All of this added up to a very good value, for the money, our whole party was very content.
The service was great too, the only reason i didn't give 5 stars, was because i asked for jalapenos, but someone else in our party got my jalapenos on his sandwich, so, mine was missing that extra kick i was craving. They hand-write their ticket orders, though, so, i can imagine some peoples' handwriting can be a bit confusing for others; perhaps a bit neater handwriting is in order? And asking co-workers for clarification, just to be doubly sure that customers get their correct order...? So, just a minor issue with that, but, again, the sandwich was delicious, i'm...
Read moreI ordered a sandwich on the app. This is only the second time I have been to Jersey Mike's. The other time was years ago.
I wanted a sandwich with soft bread. I ordered whole wheat. The crust was a little too hard for my tastes.
I had the Club Sub. The bacon was really crunchy. The sandwich tasted okay. Nothing special.
If I go again, I'll try a different sandwich with white bread to compare it with the whole wheat.
There is only parking on the side street as the gravel lot is taken up by two food trucks. The app said pull up on Broadway in front of the store and press a button on the app to have my order brought out to me. I didn't want to park there in 5:00 traffic so I parked on the side street and went in.
It's good I went in. The two young men were very busy preparing to go orders. They had not gotten to mine yet. As busy as they were, I don't think they would have had time to deliver my order to my car.
I asked about parking. They said there is a lot on the other side of the building. I did not...
