Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Idaho

Before the owner changed for this place a few months ago, I used to love Pizza Twist. Their food tastes good. However, the food is terribly overpriced and their customer service with the new owners are terrible.

I made an online order for a few butter chicken pastas and added different spice levels for all of them. When I came to pick up the pastas, I saw that no spice levels were labeled. I asked the woman which pasta was which spice, and she said she didn't know I requested different spice levels. She showed me the receipt & it clearly said the spice levels on there.

She made an excuse that the chilies are very small and not much spice, so not to worry about any of the pastas being spicy. I have family members who cannot eat spice at all. After inquiring that a couple of times, she took one of the pastas away from me and started making one new pasta with "no spice" (it ended up being spicy anyway). I had to wait another 15 minutes for her to make that extra pasta.

Once that was done, there was NO accommodation for the mistake on their behalf. & no, just remaking only 1 out of the 3 different pastas with different spice levels does not accommodate the full receipt or the extra time that I had to wait, as I was literally in a rush. They did not offer the pasta for free or a discount. And then they expect customers to return...nope, not happening. I always recommended Pizza Twist to my friends in Boise, but not anymore with these new owners who are too cheap to even accommodate anything for their customers. DO NOT come to this specific restaurant if you have a food allergy.

ONE hour and fifteen minutes for our two pizzas and wings to be put in the oven.

Door dash orders seemed to take priority.

Two people came in after us, ordered and had their food come out (for them to leave with it) sooner than us.

No clean tables.

We had to clean our own table to sit down at (granted the other patrons failed to bus their own tables). It was weird there was no priority to clean the food/utensil covered tables with only one clean table to sit at.

The restaurant is freezing cold. It’s warmer in my car at 46 F. I had to grab disposable hand warmers as my index fingers went numb and a down feather jacket.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes we were informed that the wrong cheese was added to my pizza (I have serious food allergies).

But another employee came out and told me what happened and said he did that instead of just serving me food that would have caused a reaction. 😵‍💫

We were refunded my pizza and the two waters we couldn’t drink (due to how cold it was in the restaurant).

The Meridian Pizza Twist is more welcoming, clean, faster and provides better service.

We will drive further out to the Meridian location the next time we want to spend $70 dollars on a meal.

I’m disappointed that I have to drive to another restaurant to get pizza for dinner. I was looking forward to...

My family and I ate here for the first time recently.

The service was pleasant and kind. We purchased an Indian Pizza, Naan appetizer, and 4 drinks. After being seated for a good 5 minutes the cashier came out to inform me that while they were preparing a pizza of the size I ordered - he had only charged me for a pizza the size smaller. I saw no problem paying the extra money assumimg he had figured out a way to charge me the remaining balance. However, he tried to equate the value by charging me for some beers that I obviously would not receive - which brought the total OVER the actual price I would have paid had he charged me correctly the first time.

It then took a good HALF AN HOUR for our pizza and appetizer (delivered at the same time) to be completed.

My experience may have been slightly tainted at this point but I was still excited for the pizza.

The Naan twist appetizer was good but not nearly what I was expecting based upon the reviews of this restaurant. Flavor was present but constantly out of reach.

The Indian Garlic Chicken pizza tasted FRESH and consisted of quality ingredients and toppings - but somehow the flavor was again lacking traction.

Overall, I felt like the experience was without the originality and standard of service that...
