Cambria, the manager (or as she told me “none of my business”) has THE WORST people skills i have had the displeasure of experiencing. She insists on talking over you and telling you when you have an issue and ask for her name that is none of your business and it doesn’t matter. Maybe you would actually understand the issue from the customers point of you if you actually let them talk. When we asked for her to cancel the order because we were unsatisfied she refused and continued to raise her voice and talk over me, in turn, aggressively raising her voice again because I had to raise my volume so she could hear me. If this is how the manager talks to customers I don’t want to know how the employees do since this is supposed to be their example. I will never be returning to any of their locations.
Order was delivered anyways and it was COMPLETELY WRONG. Literally not a single thing was right.. from the fact it was supposed to be a sandwich and was a wrap to 95% of the ingredients were wrong (comes off passive aggressive). She refused to not deliver then they delivered the wrong thing. Absolute worst experience ever and the owner should re-evaluate who he is putting in charge. Having worked and currently working in customer service, this is the worst I've ever...
Read moreMust politics permeate every facet of society, including sandwich shops? In this day and age? Yes. Sadly, yes it does find its way onto our trays, as ever-present actually than a bag of Fritos (or was it Cheetos?)
Friends, it might be true that JJ ownership is marred by association with authoritarian demi-gods. That might be so. But consider the BRIGHT side of what such inclination brings: a complete, unconditional, worship of quality meats, cheeses and breads. Any deviation, any liberties taken, is SQUASHED as punishable dissent. There are JJ STANDARDS and they must be upheld at all costs.
We might be living in a time of exaggerated fears, where STATES OF EMERGENCY are called by our dear leaders as one might order a pizza. The key is this: don’t order a pizza—order a sandwich from Jimmy John’s on State Street. There are many types of excellent meats, cheeses, and breads, combined in a most excellent manner. The staff is so adept and likable, you’d think they were rewarded by a livable wage!

Read moreMy order took over an hour. When I called to cancel I was told it was on it's way. I had to get back to work and attend to clients. The delivery instructions said to leave on reception desk, so I figured at least I could eat in another hour when I was done. When I finished helping the first client I walked out to put my sandwich away. But there was nothing at the reception desk. My client went to leave and saw my order sitting outside in the 90+ degree heat and told me it was there. I have no idea how long it had been out but the ice in my drink was melted and my turkey and cheese sandwich was HOT.
Called and was told I already had a credit for having to wait so long in the first place and that the food sitting outside was unacceptable and they would void the ticket and talk to the driver. Watching to see if the refund actually happens. Will update from 2 start...
