I ordered a turkey & cheese grinder to go. It comes with tomatoes & mao. I asked for lettuce, pickles, mustard & they obliged. It took 15 minutes to get the sandwich, so I had plenty of time to look around. There is zero ambiance and a cafeteria feel.
The sandwich: It was hot and wrapped in aluminum foil when I got it. It took me ten minutes to get home. When I took the first bite, the bread was soggy in the inside and crunchy outside. There was sufficient fill of the grinder.
The atmosphere: This place needs a good cleaning. There are cobwebs (see attached deer statue) and so much dust on all the chotchkies on the counter (especially the unused cash register and chef holding their business cards {in photo}). Inhave no idea when the last time the floor was swept & mopped. It needed attention. The store-bought condiments in the cooler (I assume for customers to use) are gross.
I realize this is a sandwich joint, but they could do better all...
Read moreThis happened today, 01/11/2016 I use to eat at this Mancino's Pizza and Grinders about 2 to 3 times a month. But as of late I had not been in there for a while. I wanted to prove my friend wrong that their submarine sandwiches had gone downhill. There were only about four customers in the shop so it was not busy, yet. I picked up a Ham and Cheese with tomato’s on it and drove about 2 mins back to work. I was so excited to have a great tasting sandwich. This did not happen, it was horrible! At first I looked for the cheese and it was so over cooked it had blended into the bread. Unfortunately that was not the worst to come; the bread was so wet on about 78% of the sandwich I had to remove it. I am not sure what has happened to this once good sandwich shop. I am sure they will lose return customers if this is what they are putting out daily. I will NEVER eat in there again, or...
Read moreI went into this little pizza place in a Albertsons strip mall with expectations of just ok pizza . I had a great conversation on there pizza selection and asked the bearded cashier for his recommendation. He was very direct to recommend the Pride combo is a excellent to go choice. Well I was waiting for my pizza I quickly realized that this is a husband and wife making traditional handmade pizza which made me appreciate the price of the pizza even more . I got the uncut pizza home and it was love at first taste. If your looking to support a mom and pop pizza restaurant and you crave high quality pizza I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m looking forward to tasting there grinders and I’m sure they...
