I am very disappointed with my recent experience at the Shave Shack. I arrived around 6:50 PM and joined a small line. A staff member told us they’d be back in 15 minutes, which was surprising since the shop was still open and there were customers waiting. I returned around 7:35 PM, expecting them to be open again—especially since the posted closing time is 8 PM. However, the shop was closed, and I saw the two employees from earlier standing outside with what appeared to be a group of friends. When we arrived at 853 we realized it might be closed but to our delight there were still lots of people eating shaved ice and a worker at the window with the lights on. Even though she had just made some shaved ice for others she told us they were closed. So sad for our kid! Good thing there is ice cream down the street, but we won’t be returning to The Shack which is so sad since it’s a neighborhood business. Maybe something friendlier will...
