My wife and I are foodies and love to get out and eat good food when we’re just too tired to do it ourselves, so going out and spending our hard earned money is a treat. So last night we found a New local venue off Overland called “Voodoo Brewing Co.” and said let’s give it a shot, since it was close to home. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be worth the trip… We ordered a Craft Beer and a house Zinfandel. Those were fine. But when we got our food, it wasn’t great at all. The PB&J burger was way over cooked and tasted burnt, and the Chicky, Chicky Chicken sandwich was mostly over cooked, not moist and the dark brown batter wasn’t tasty, the bun was slightly burnt, but had the potential of being good if it wasn’t overcooked. The French fries were nothing to write home about either. Our server was great and the atmosphere was ok. Our server took our burger off the bill (per manager/owners approval) who was working at the time. The manager/owner was even the one who cleared our table, but didn’t even say anything to us about our meal or experience that she removed a burger from?? Then when we left, she smiled and said goodbye and thanks for coming in as if nothing happened and all was good?? Wouldn’t you as a Manager/Owner of a New neighborhood establishment want EVERY customer to be satisfied with your restaurant for repeat business? Wouldn’t you have visited the table to see how they enjoyed their dining experience and food? Wouldn’t you have apologized and tried to earn that customer’s business back? Unfortunately, none of that happened, and only shows a lack of ownership/management experience and poor customer relations. I understand things happen and food sometimes gets overcooked or is unsatisfactory, but at least be aware of the customer and make it right, or you just may lose...
Read moreFun new brewpub to visit, featuring Pennsylvania brewed (?) Voodoo brewing trucked in monthly. They also feature some other well known brews on tap, like mack n jacks, as well as pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and wings. They also have fingersteaks (look in the appetizer section) and a variety of cocktails.
Our server was excellent, friendly and attentive - helping everyone get what they were looking for to eat. A couple of the beers were different, but we were able to find something we liked. I had the Chicken sandwich (chicky chicky..) with chips and, while the sandwich was really messy, it had good flavor and was pretty thickly breaded. The fingersteaks seems to be handmade, with strips of meat (not the premade "+urd$") and the fries were hot and fresh. The worst part of the experience was that it gets noisy (especially during trivia,) they want you to order thru an app or at the bar (even for food) and those chairs hurt to sit in for very long. (We were told that they are switching them out... But for now, you will probably limit the time you spend here if you are in one of the...

Food was meh, literally. Burgers were just ok if thin patty smash burgers are your thing. Fries sucked they were the worst I've ever had and cold and you could tell they definitely needed to change the oil more often, it's not a side i'd select ever again. Beer cheese was cold and barely had any flavor. They were out of everything it seemed, so having such a small menu was halved by them coming back saying they were out of this and that. This is definitely not a brewery. More of a pub. I'm sure they have a brewery else where just not at this location so the name seems a bit deceiving. All the good reviews seem to be from people who are local or family/friends and near this location. Definitely not a spot to rave about. Advice would be change your oil often, offer better food since competition would take your sales after a patrons first visit, and stop charging for simple items like a side of fry sauce. 2* at best from...
