Asian King & Sushi — Restaurant in Independence

First and foremost, if I could give a negative rating I would. Lucky for them I cannot! I have had interactions with the rude and hateful women, the son and husband. I would recommend they all learn common courtesy. Such as hello, thank you, have a good day, goodbye, welcome, come again. But, hello and thank you would be a start. This entire family is rude, no manners whatsoever!!!!! I don't know how they do things in there country, but they aren't living living in there country any longer! Here in America, we value business and appreciate the customers bringing in that business. I would not recommend anyone to go here based on their nasty dispositions towards there patrons. As long as they have been in business you would think they would have learned a friendly communication towards the people that keep there doors open. No thank you to getting my hard earned dollars, to many other Chinese restaurants just as close, who know how to say hello and thank you!!!!! I don't know where these 5 stars are coming from, but they are either fake or the owners putting them up, .in addition, I have personally seen this rude women sneeze, wipe her nose bare handed and go right back to fixing good. Also, they don't wear gloves while preparing food. I highly recommend all to stay clear of this...

We moved to Indepence 4 years ago and discovered this place. The food was fantastic and service was always awesome. We used to get take out every week until the last 6 months or so. If I don't go through my food before I leave I get home and it's wrong. The last 2 times it was right so tonight I just grabbed it and left. I spent $62 tonight only to get home and realize they gave me rice soup, no chicken. First off, why do they sell rice soup? Second, I explained to the kid 4 times I wanted chicken soup w/o onion. I had to give him half of mine from my entree because of this. When I called, the kid was very rude and said "maybe you weren't clear enough". He said if I came back he would give me some chicken but I had to pay for it because he only charged me for rice soup. This was it, they will no longer get my hard earned money. I'll leave you with this, the food quality tonight was really high and very delicious. I really wish they'd get it together, too bad I won't...

I moved to Independence in October, and Have ordered from China King at least 5 times since the move. I work from home, and was pleasantly surprised that they delivered. The first problem I had with this establishment, is that they never bring any sauces. When I asked why my order did not include soy sauce or duck sauce, I was told that they do not provide it unless requested. This to me was absurd. What Chinese delivery restaurant would not include at the very least, soy sauce. They have forgotten an entire portion of my meal, as well as delivered me the wrong item. They then forced me to drive up to the restaurant to get the correct one. Overall I was not impressed with the food itself either. I will not be giving this restaurant any more of my business. The kicker to this whole mess, is that they require a minimum of $25 for Delivery. So you end up with 2-3 peoples worth of the mediocre food. Again, this review was based over a period of over 5 months....
