Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Independence

Very disappointed with my experience. Initially called to make sure their kitchen was open until the same time their dining room was. Called and said “I was just wondering what time your kitchen closed.” I got a rude reply “uh 12?” I brushed that off though and went in around 10:30. After careful consideration considering it is $15 for 10 traditional wings, I ordered 10 traditional wings and asked for some ranch, celery, and a large fry. My boyfriend asked for 5 tenders and a large fry. The waitress was telling him he did not want to get two large fries. “I’m trying to save your bank account.” Okay seems pretty nice of her. Few minutes go by, she comes back and says that they dont have the stuff to cook the tenders and asks my boyfriend what he would like instead. My boyfriend is very understanding and said it’s fine that he will take some boneless wings instead. The food finally comes and the fries are nice and fresh but the wings are hardly even warm. I quite prefer flats over drumsticks but I felt adding an extra dollar or two to get only flats wasn't worth it, so I figured 50/50 is fine. However, my entire order was all drumsticks. I would be fine with it if i didn't pay $15 for all of my wings to be the ones I less prefer. Whats more sad about that, is the fact my wings were smaller than my boyfriends boneless wings yet cost more as well. I didn’t get any flats nor did I ever get the celery I asked for. The receipt came around and my boyfriend told the waitress that i got all drumsticks and that i’m not very fond of them. She says “I can’t do anything about that, you’re lucky you got that cause i mean its probably all they got back there.” Didn’t ask if there was anything she could do or if I would like to talk to anyone or anything. We then looked at the receipt and she charged us for one large fry and a regular fry even though both orders were the same exact size. We questioned her on that as well but she confirmed that was right. She then asked if we wanted some drinks to go, we said yes, and she comes back with two empty cups, “i’m sorry i forgot our drink stations were closed.” We left a 20% tip and left. Total of $60 for this terrible experience. I don’t believe its because we got there late because we got there an hour and a half before their kitchen closed and I called to confirm that was alright. Not worth the price...

I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences at this Buffalo Wild Wings location.

Yesterday was National Wing Day, and the app had two promos: BOGO wings and 6 free wings with a $10 minimum purchase. Seemed like a great deal, right? I even called ahead to confirm that both offers could be stacked, and the woman on the phone assured me they could be. She even mentioned that two customers had already done it that day.

So, my wife and I planned this as our dinner. We didn’t prepare anything at home based on that confirmation. But when I got to the restaurant to pick up our order, they told me the phone rep was wrong and they wouldn’t honor both offers. I asked to speak with the manager, hoping for a reasonable resolution. But instead of making it right—especially after their own employee gave me incorrect information—they flat-out refused.

What made it even worse: a friend of mine walked in right after and used the BOGO offer. He got 20 wings for less than what I paid for 18. Unbelievable.

The manager could’ve easily stepped up and at least matched my friend’s deal, considering the situation. But nope. Nothing. No apology. No effort to fix their mistake.

Terrible customer service. I left feeling completely burnt. I’ll never go back to this location again, and I’d strongly caution others to double and triple check before trusting anything this store tells you...

Yesterday, we decided to try this location, as we normally go to the Florence one. There was not a soul there when we arrived. It was a little while before we were greeted, but our drinks arrived fine. We were interrupted by the server when we were trying to speak our order, we had to repeat our orders, I repeated I wanted traditional wings 3 times. We ordered wings, a salad, and a sandwich and it took over 30 minutes. And the salad that was supposed to come out before my wings? The ranch dressing got dropped and dumped all over my dress. I was given a dry bar rag to clean my linen dress off by the food runner after we used all our napkins and were never brought more, I also had to ask for a replacement cup of ranch. Carrots and celery sticks were also thrown atop my wings instead of being placed in a cup like every other location I’ve been to. The servers apologized and kept making me more mad by asking if my dress would be “okay” and one of them eventually brought over some soda water for my dress by the time the ranch dried on my dress. My salad honestly should have gotten comped but we felt like inconveniences to the servers who were on their phones by the kitchen entrance and we don’t believe in asking for free food.
