I’d like to start by saying that I never really leave reviews for places but after today’s lunch and the service I received, I felt obligated to let anyone reading know that you are missing out if you don’t come here and experience it for yourself.
As someone who has years of experience in supervision/management, I understand that good help can be one of the challenges we face in terms of employment, for whatever reason it may be. However, the gentleman who provided his services to us by waiting our table was absolutely on top of his game! No sooner than our butts hit the seat, he was there to take on any request we were ready to make. They didn’t happen to have the beer I normally order as a “go to” but he offered a suggestion that turned out to be an excellent substitute. Not only was he very attentive the entire time, to the point where I would simply think of something I wanted and he was right there to make sure I had it. He was able to provide that top tier service while dealing with a packed dining room, which is something you do not see many people capable of doing, let alone as well. He was also incredibly friendly and personable, wearing a smile indicating that he was not unhappy with his job, which is important to me as well. Employees do their best work when they’re well taken care of, and it shows in their performance. To Ben S: Excellent job all around!
Lastly… I’m not going to get into how good the food was. My friend and I went with some bone-in wings and man, they were good. I am very picky about my wings, having grown up raised by someone who was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, so it takes a lot to impress me, but they knocked it out of the park. I also ordered some onion rings which turned out to be so massive, it took 2 boxes to contain the left overs I took home with me. Everything I saw being served to others looked equally tasty, and smelled amazing. I’m going to have to go back as soon as I get the first opportunity.
The only thing I didn’t care for was the tiny table we were sitting at, but that’s merely my preference and we could have been sat elsewhere had my friend not requested a taller table, him being almost made entirely of legs. That’s not the restaurant’s fault, but perhaps they may do better with that area having more traditional style tables in their place? Perhaps they work well for everyone else. Either way…
Great place to eat. Top tier service. Amazing food. If you don’t eat here, you’re only doing yourself...
Read moreMay17,2025 Went to our favorite restaurant but this time it was different… Staff just didn’t seem to care. Dishes didn’t taste or look the same. Atmosphere seemed to be lively still but the upkeep of the property was fading. The host seated us outside and let the door shut in our faces instead of holding it as we were trying to walk out. Seated us at a table with a broken chair and apparently ketchup on the grates of seat (cause I sit down in it) and on the grated outdoor table top too. I covered my table with napkins from my wrapped dirty fork and knife. (I used my watch to clean up the best I could but it just needed a good wipe down. My waiter seemed to either have too many tables (cause he was mingling with guests more than serving tables) or not enough. We ordered. Food was good but we are thinking a new cook because it was not as good as before. We finished our food (lots left over), drinks and just sat for 10-15 mins while our waiter talked to the next table ( never asked if we needed anything or a refill). Looked over at us- hands check to us. I put card in holder and he rushes to cash us out. Literally the fastest I’ve seen him move and the most prompt service the whole time. He brought the card back- and we asked for boxes. He proceeded to take 3 more tables drink orders 1 by 1 and we stopped him to ask if he forgot and he said he would be right back. Unfortunately he wasn’t. He brought those drinks to the tables and took their orders (3tables!) and my husband stopped him again. We finally got the boxes. Utterly I was disappointed this visit. I will return, eventually. (Pics will be included of the broken chair, dirty utensils and table. )

Once again Crewitts Creek did a wonderful job on their food. Lobster Bisque was the special and it was spot on! I also ordered fried mushrooms...
Read moreUpdate: we promised we would give Crewitts a 2nd try so off went went and glad we did. We started with the mushrooms, wow, largest and best we have ever eaten. Potstickers with coleslaw had General Tso sauce (I did not personally try these but 3 others did and all gave 4-5 stars, sauce had a little zing but not too much. Chicken Cesar salad was one of the largest we've ever had and very good. Tried the Pigs in a Blanket again (changed out the mustard for beer cheese sauce) 100% better than 1st try. Best part was when we got there bill it was was of the most reasonable we've had in a long time for the amount of food we had. Very glad we gave them a 2nd chance and will be returning in the future. Side note: they have the outside seating open now.
Original Post: I wanted to give them a 5-Star rating. Arrived at 450pm on a Friday and no parking anywhere. That's ok, we were patient and drove around in circles until we found one. Finally made it in the restaurant and promptly seated. Menu had so many options we couldn't choose. Tried the deviled eggs (I'm very picky) and these were the best I've ever had so moving on we ordered the pigs in a blanket special and a Cuban. Didn't take too long for those to arrive and man they looked delicious and the presentation was definitely 5 Star. Then we tried them and unfortunately both were extremely bland. I would try the Pigs in a Blanket again but order a cheese sauce vs the mustard sauce (personal opinion, I just didn't like the sauce it tasted like pure mustard). The Cuban had a nice portion of meat but it was super dry. The waitress was exceptional for how busy she was. Beer was cold. May try again in the future and try...
