Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Independence

First time coming to Braums, we were excited that they have such great prices for the sizes. Especially that they have chili! While making our order, the gent. Was very nice and knowledgeable with the menu. We asked a particular question that he didn’t know and he had to ask his manager/or supervisor; and when she came over to answer the question we had she was extremely flustered, also very irritable. She also was very rude to the employee assisting us, and remind you he was doing a great job! We got our chili and fries; and chili tasted amazingly, also was filled to the top of the bowl. The fries were crispy and soft in the middle, again tasteful! Greatly satisfied with the quality, portions, and taste our first time! Second time coming we went through drive threw; and got the yogurt ice cream cone special, one SM and one LG. The employees were very nice, also it was very a great price, great size, and tasteful! Third time we came was same day, and we got chili with LG yogurt ice cream. The sizing/portion was not comparable to the other visits, very poor. The chili wasn’t full, only 70% filled. The yogurt ice cream was filled to the rim of the cone, and again this time we had that same manager/or supervisor from our first visit (Bleach blonde hair in a bun.) Very sad they can’t stay consistent to portions. Either you get great portions, or terrible portions, and might catch a manager/or supervisor in a terrible mood taking it out on...

Two days in a row. Drive through order. Ordered a hamburger with NO onion, catsup, or mayonnaise. First time-got no mustard, double mayonnaise. Second day, got catsup, no mustard, got cheese. That second time I didn't leave until I checked the order. I asked the clerk to replace the order with the correct condiments, no cheese. Seconds later, a lady whom I took to be a manager very angrily came to the window and asked me what I'd ordered. I told her. She came back a second time, still in an angry manner, and asked me the same question again. Returned with my order. I asked if she was mad at me for some reason. Responded no, she was trying to get my order right, that she'd made it herself this time. I told her it had happened the day before, too. She told me she wasn't there the day before. BTW, I got charged for a cheeseburger, higher priced item than what I ordered. Noticed that when I got home. Wow. Sure looking forward to getting our Dairy Queen opened back up here. I was polite to that lady. Don't understand why I deserved that treatment. Food...

I am a born and raised Oklahoma so I'm a big braums fan but this braums in independence kansas is a disgrace me and my family go to braums often but this one can't get with it I ordered me and my husband breakfast with no meat products I clearly told them we were allergic to beef and pork they give us gravy with sausage I take it back up there and tell them no meat I'm allergic they give us two more containers of gravey I open them and start to pour it on to my plate and there again two pieces of sausage they tried to pick out the sausage from their pot of gravey thinking we would not notice I took it back up there and got two new ones the color difference was clear you can tell white gravy verses gravy with sausage the point is we are highly allergic to pork I would of been put into anaphylaxis shock if I would of eaten it they can't cut corners they could of killed me or my husband...
