I keep trying to give this location a chance because it’s closer. But I will definitely be driving out of my way if I want a cookie to the Lee Summit location. I ordered 4 cookies, the Oreo cheesecake two of them which was an up charge of $1.25 each. And the cinnamon cookie and then a strawberry cookie. The strawberry cookie looked great. The cinnamon cookie barely had any icing on it if you could call it Icing it was so runny and thin it looked like water. The Oreo cheesecake cookies I should’ve looked at them closer for the two seconds she showed them before she closed the box. But when I open the box at home, the cookies did not look right. They definitely don’t look as advertised the cheesecake cookies were clumpy like it wasn’t mixed properly, some parts of it is the Oreo cheesecake mix and the other is just clumps of cream cheese. What a big disappointment and especially the Up charge of $1.25 each For cookies that aren’t even made right. The cinnamon cookie just looks like it wasn’t baked right Almost like when you put too much baking powder in the mix. I also found Two pieces of animal hair, one in the box and one on the cheesecake cookie. I Also saw somebody making some of the mix and they were just pouring whatever amount of it look like oil into the mix without measuring the amount they were putting in. Could be the reason why the cinnamon cookie didn’t look right if they’re not measuring the ingredients first. They didn’t seem to be too friendly there nobody greeted us and not even said one word except for the lady handing the cookies she just said here’s your cookies. But for $20 for 4 cookies for them to look the way they do in these pictures it’s a bit...

This was my first visit to the store, and I asked a young lady with glasses for the most popular cookie, but she didn’t give me a clear answer. I was the only customer there at the time. I ordered 12 cookies and intended to leave a $100 tip. However, my debit card was swiped four times due to a system error. I immediately called my bank, and they confirmed that my transaction had processed four times, resulting in a $500 charge for the cookies. The employee informed me that nothing had gone through in their system and didn’t apologize; she merely said the transactions were pending and to wait 24 hours to see if they would drop off. When I asked if she would be upset if someone took $500 from her without receiving anything, she responded she would just be frustrated, mentioning a similar experience at Costco. This felt dismissive, and she then turned her attention to other customers who arrived after me, even though my bank had indicated the transactions were completed.

I’m now looking for legal assistance to address this situation.

Afterward, my bank teller mentioned that I had been discriminated against and that there was likely an issue with their system.

So, I left without any cookies and lost $500. The employee even asked if I wanted to run my card again for a fifth time, implying that, because I’m Black, she assumed I didn’t...

The cookie giveaway (still going on today, 12.23.22 until midnight), is what drew me in with my kids. I mean, who doesn't want a free cookie? Come on!

With great anticipation (and fear that I would become an addict), I made my way to the store this morning. Tiny shop with a poorly located counter/front door that caused sub-zero wind to blast the young lady at the front in the face as she and the staff half-heartedly greeted customers as they walked in the place.

The spartanly decorated place is "adorned" with long & unhappy faces, a true signal that the culinary delights will be anything but that. For a phenomenal example, please see the movie "Like Water for Chocolate."

The cookies: Terrific as window dressing... Need I say more? Perhaps. Therefore, I will.

The freebie was a chocolate chip - their signature cookie - that simply lacked in distinct flavor beyond being sweet. A handful of chocolate chips with a spoonful of sugar as a chaser would be the equivalent. Moreover, as the picture intends to indicate, it was undercooked.

Disappointed that I couldn't choose the freebie as the egg nog, I decided to buy one. At least this one had a decided (egg nog) flavor, but it was overwhelmingly sweet & underdone. Another experience I didn't enjoy.

It goes without saying that I don't foresee a return visit. A waste of...
