So full disclosure, I loved Kinship when I first started going in 2023. The space in KCK was beautiful & it’s been heartbreaking to see them move.
I do also still travel to Independence to Kinship’s new location.
I am so excited to see how this location is going to take off. For starters, Q is always so sweet and thoughtful every time I come in. Some days the barista will write funny sweet notes on the cups, sometimes it’s just nice to kick back and chat.
Plus the number of large tables to utilize to work on projects is such a game changer! I can not wait to start hosting financial literacy groups there!
Also, genuinely, Kinship attracts the coolest people. This has stayed true since KCK. I have had some of the best conversations over an Iced Mocha Oat Milk Latte.
My only little suggestion would be to start carrying sugar free syrups. Not for taste, but just because health wise I’ve been told I need to do sugar free & I always have to cheat on that when I go to Kinship.
My favorite signature drink is the Strawberry milk Matcha. She’s a beauty and she tastes so good!!
