Our new favorite chinese place! We tried 3 dishes & a hot and sour soup, and everything was pretty awesome. Kung Pao Chicken was spicier and NOT drowned in thick sweet sauce like most places.. made me very happy! Pork Fried Rice was a hit with everyone - SO GOOD. We normally get the soup for our 7 year old, but the hot & sour soup was a lot spicier than other places, my husband loved it. Sesame chicken had a good flavor, but was a different style than we're used to, it looked like typical balls of sweet & sour chicken, with onions & sauce on top. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as other places. The regular "fried" rice that comes with each dish isn't much to write home about. Portions are great and dishes are about 5-6 each. Clearly most of these reviews are paid reviews. The food was really bad, extremely salty with the exception of the crab rangoon that had no crab, green onion or sesame oil, but plenty of sugar. The staff argued with each other in the back on and off while we ate lunch and then right before we left the completely empty restaurant a person in the kitchen started sneezing and hacking. I have tried finding good Chinese that compared to or beat my hometown spot before moving here. Tried a few other places and was blah and than found Peking on my way home from work And WOW! not only is the owner one of the nicest humans ever the food is top notch especially the eggrolls and orange chicken, the portions are amazing definitely 2 meals for the 2 of us and didn't come close to emptying my pocket. ...
