BEWARE: This place charges a 4.25% fee for all credit and debit card transactions that is NOT disclosed on the receipt. Further more, you are paying more than the advertised 4.25% but actually above 5% that is not disclosed on receipt where it’s going or why.
$14.71 total on receipt - bank charges show $15.59 (difference of 5.808%)
$18.98 total on receipt - bank charges show $20.12 (difference of 5.831%)
Long story - ordered a burrito and a #17. The gentleman did not hear me correctly, or some reason, so I paid $14-and some change for a large Pepsi and a burrito per my receipt. I was confused but accepted it anyways because I needed a drink, but the guy didn’t even ask me what drink I wanted so why was this drink charged and entered a Pepsi?
I told him my #17 was missing so i need to order that. That second order came up to $18.98. I get text notifications on my phone when my card is used so both orders came through and somehow I was charged $15.59 for the first order and $20.12. I didn’t see this til AFTER I had left, so I called the store.
The gentleman over the phone told me it was a 4.25% fee for credit card usage. I told him ok, but why isn’t it disclosed on the receipt? He told me it’s on the menu window and drive thru. And I said “is it large enough for people to see? But that still doesn’t explain why it’s not disclosed on the receipt.” If it’s not on the receipt total, it should be on the receipt somewhere in fine print. The gentleman disappears for a few seconds as the line goes silent and then he hangs up on me.
Will call my bank to have them dispute this transaction because the store blatantly did not want to answer my questions. I would have accepted his answer if he apologized for my inconvenience and provided me an answer why it’s not disclosed on the receipt but the fact that he hung up on me - a paying customer - and expected me to take that for an answer.
Just wow. Avoid this place at all...
Read moreI’ve almost worshipped Panchos since before it opened in this location. I used to go out of my way to go downtown before it opened here.everything was wonderful. Then all of the panchos closed and renamed. It was ok but the pancho sauce wasnt as good. At this point I’d already been addicted to this sauce for years. I was extremely excited when panchos reopened. Panchos sauce was back! It went good for a year or so, then the sauce got watery and didn’t have the same flavor. Then the potatoes stopped being cooked the way they used to. I gave the employees feedback that went nowhere and nothing changed. I asked how to make panchos sauce and that got nowhere. So, I started ordering breakfast burritos with hashbrowns and I tried one of the other salsas. Not as good, different flavor, but the Martajada became my new favorite since the Panchos sauce wasn’t good anymore. I made do with that until the last few months. A new woman works there now and things have changed again. Now the martajada salsa isn’t as good anymore and she doesn’t listen to instructions well. If I say I want 3 cups of salsa it’s because I’ll use it on the burrito. She ignores what you ask for and puts as many as she feels like every time. It’s frustrating because panchos has been a part of my life now for a decade at least and it’s not consistent. I tried California taco shop down the street. Their martajada is GREAT. Their Potatoes are like panchos used to be. I wish they had Panchos sauce like Panchos used to, but Panchos doesn’t either. I love you Panchos but you have to be better. PLEASE GET BETTER PANCHOS! Contact me by email and let me know when I can come back, until then I’m going...
Read moreVery disappointed. So here's my dilemma. I do dashing on the side. And I get a lot of deliveries for panchos Mexican food. And often times on these orders, I notice a lot of one particular burrito, the California Burrito. It had me wanting to try it out for some time. Well this morning was just that time. I'm out dashing, I decide, I'm doing it, I'm getting this famous burrito. I look up panchos menu on Google maps. Because I couldn't seem to nail it down on Google search alone. Anyhow, on the menu I find it burrito listed for 7.99. Now I'm a penny pincher. The idea of spending over $8 was already weighing heavy on my mind. To be clear, I'm not knocking the price. It's just me personally that doesn't want to spend that much. But I was there, I was gonna see it thru. The guy working the window opens up and says, $10 and some change. I was like, what?! So I told him I seen the price for 7.99. He says, no. I then show him. He still says, no. I'm like bro, for real? You not got l gonna honor this price I'm showing you. He says no, that prob 3 years old. I'm like that's fine but this is what it says. He stays with no. Mind you, the burrito has probably already been made. And this same guy saw me dashing on 2 orders mere minutes ago. So I'm like, just forget it then. And he literally hands me my money back and says have a nice day. Idk, just kinda threw me for a loop. Basically I've never heard of a place that won't honor an advertised price. Old or not. And it was already made. And i dash for them all the time. Other than this one experience, I don't have anything bad to say about the joint.
P.S. now I'm...
