Ranchero's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Independence

I've been driving pass this place for years but finally decided to stop in and give it a try...it was really good I ordered the fiesta tacos not sure how big they would be I ordered 3 but got full off of just 2...they were really good I will go back and try other things off the menu

Edit: they aren't consistent I went back today for those tacos and they used a different type of taco shell...the first time I went they used a homemade type soft but crunchy taco shell and this time they just used a regular hard taco shell...it may seem like I'm being picky over a taco shell but the first shell I had took the taco to another level and was mainly why I wanted more and was more worth the cost but they can keep the 4 stars because they are still good I added a pic of the first tacos I got

Another edit: I went back 2 days in a row and ordered the exact same thing both times and was charged 2 different prices...a $4 difference, I will include a pic...I could understand if I was substituting beef for steak but I was substituting steak for beef so charging the same price as the steak would seem more fair than upcharging but I guess it goes back to the inconsistencies, but they are soo good so again they can keep...

This stop was absolutely horrible. Out of 7 people, only 1 enjoyed their meal, which was a cheese quesadilla.

All other food items ordered, including a steak quesadilla, shredded beef chimichanga, beef enchiladas, ranchero burrito, and chips and cheese/guacamole were bland with no regard to authenticity. Microwave in use; beware.

One item specifically, the guacamole was creamy avocado with little or no additional ingredients. Comparatively, it was almost like eating baby food.

When filling our first cup at the drink station, our cup was filled with ants indicating that the dispenser heads (do not know the actual name of the part) have not been cleaned in a long time.

My wife visited the women's restroom and it smelled so bad that she almost vomited.

Needless to say, this location is an absolute zero chance for a return visit and I highly recommend avoiding this location all together.

An absolute waste of $88 for 7...

So I came through the drive-thru ordered the number 12 which is tamales with a side of rice and beans and the beans were so watered down that they are now in my bag and not in the container and I don't have beans now with my meal because they were all over my salsa containers all over my napkins I don't have napkins either and everything was just ruined. This is not the same place that was rancheros It says rancho's now It does not taste the same at all these tamales don't taste like a normal tamale I don't even taste the corn. I've never had sour cream put on tamales and lettuce does not belong at the bottom of food. It's hot food going on raw lettuce that is the most disgusting thing in the world wilted iceberg is horrible. Worst experience at this...
