This review is for the Arby's Fast Food Restaurant in Elkhart Indiana, on Cassopolis Street (SR 19 - North). Their dining room has been closed, as has many fast food places during the pandemic. But they've always done great drive thru business. But for some time now, they have been closing the drive thru and the entire restaurant at 8pm in the evening, every evening. But the reason they close early is because of staffing. Apparently the management can't keep, or can't hire new employees so that they could at least keep their drive thru open through the evening like they used to be. To me, there's no excuse for allowing lack of staff to go on for any longer than a few days to a week at the most. Management needs to put in some effort, advertise for help, have a hiring event or two, and get the place staffed! It is ridiculous that this store has had problems for weeks and weeks now. So don't bother stopping in the evening and expecting some food from this Arby's Store. They just don't...
Read moreOrdered two gyros for six dollars, one plain. Received two gyros with everything - which means my son had nothing to eat (yes, he is picky but had it been plain, as ordered, he would have wolfed it down). Large order of curly fries clearly sat in the warmer too long, were put in the service container when we ordered and were served to us in the drive through eleven minutes after we ordered and were borderline inedible by the time we arrived home (which is EXACTLY six minutes from this location.). I tried the "Italian Beef". Fairly good on flavor but clearly the touch, chewy bun was microwaved. The "gravy" served with it was, well, weird. The faux au jus served with the French dip would have been better if no more authentic.
Look. It's fast food. I don't expect gourmet. But if you can't get the basics right (correct order and proper temperature), then why are you even trying to expand your menu to "We have the Meats!"
Disappointed for the second or third time with this...
Read moreI was staying at the hotel across the street and decided to eat here on a busy Saturday night. A night you wouldn't think they would be slow and microwave your roast beef sandwiches. Well it was blatantly microwaved. It was a good thing I was close enough to bring my food back and get a refund. I was given my money back and told, “its fast food, what do you expect” by the manager. If you like spending your hard earned money on microwaved food I suggest you eat at this specific location.
Edit: tried this place again to see if the prime rib cheese steak sandwich was any good. My god, it was microwaved. Big long line, microwave on standbye. It is standard practice here at this arbys to microwave your food before serving. Someone please inspect this locations...
