So last night my husband and I took our two children here for dinner. We live here in Granger and come here about twice a month. We arrived a little after 8pm, the place was very slow, I'd say maybe 3 tables. The bar was a little more packed. We got seated right away. We attempted to order drinks, our son requested root beer but they were out. A sangria sounded really good and since it was on special I thought I'd order that, but they were out of that as well. After looking over the menu we noticed some new appetizers. They had jalapeño corn bread fritters which we wanted to try...after our waitress returned we told her we'd like to order them and no joke, they were out of those too! At that point, you kind of think it was a joke! We still wanted to try an appetizer and the waitress suggested a new combo they had which was onion rings and 6 wings. Normally I love their wings here...spicy garlic sounded good and that's what we ordered. Our appetizer came back longer then usual, the onion rings were good but a little cold. The wings were burnt and extremely crunchy and had no sauce on them. I requested extra sauce to poor on them to see if that'd help. She brought us a container of the sauce and it was ice cold! We asked if they'd make new ones and make sure they were hot and extra wet. At that point we went ahead and ordered our meals. About 30 minutes later they brought us our meals, and still no appetizer. They forgot my salad with my meal as well as ranch for my daughters cheese quesadilla. After she returned my salad and ranch, we asked her if she'd let our waitress know we no longer would like the wings now that our food is here. Our son ordered the prime rib sandwich, he let me try it and it was warm and cold in the middle. He said it's fine and being 11 he was hungry and just wanted to eat. My husband ordered and 'new' turkey melt. Melts are suppose to be warm, it was a cold lunch meat sandwich. The sandwich was suppose to have guacamole on it according to the menu, but it had none at all. My husband returned his dinner and didn't get to eat. I'm pretty sure at that point he was disgusted with our experience and lost his appetite. Our 7 year old daughter ordered the kids quesadilla with celery sticks. She looked at her quesadilla and asked me why it's so much smaller then usual. Considering we come here so often, even my daughter noticed that they gave her half of what she's suppose to have! They took off my husbands meal as well as our appetizer. I'm shocked a manager never came over to apologize. I couldn't believe how bad the service was considering how slow they were. Despite our evening, I will say our waitress had a great personality. Very disappointed with this place and...

The food was mostly good. Two of my daughters had curly fries and one of them looks like they had scraped every last one out of the bottom as there were three actual curly fries and the rest were bits and pieces. The Caesar salad was just adequate. It looked nice in the picture but it didn't taste so hot. The biggest problem by far was our waitress Janice. She never came back and asked if our food was good. I had to go up to the bar and ask for silverware because we were short one. Still no waitress. I had to go back up and ask for water when we were almost through with our meal because every one of our glasses were empty. She then brought a pitcher and just left it on the table. The three people that ordered fish and chips did not like coleslaw and we were told by our waitress that we could substitute something else. We asked what we could substitute and we're given a list verbally. We all picked macaroni and cheese. When we got our bill we were charged another $8 for macaroni and cheese. I asked why we were charged for this and she said "oh that cost more" I asked why we were not told that when we ordered and she said it was in the menu. It would have been nice to know as we had already ordered and our menus were closed when she listed off what we could order as a substitute. I stated I don't think we'll be back. Her response was "great" I thought I misheard her so I asked my daughter. What did she say she turned around and looked at me and said in a louder voice "GREAT" My grandson went to the restroom and passed by her by the kitchen where she was talking to a young man about the table up front that was being too picky. She pointed to us. So disappointed in this young...

Today we had to go fresh, hot, flavorful sandwiches. The young lady tending the bar who patiently took our order was highly spirited and energetic, with a great personality.
Speaking from experience, as with all local restaurants owners and their staff, if anything is not first to your complete satisfaction, just politely let them know.
Most will always do their best to correct what may have first not been as it should have been. But consider being respectful even when they are busy and frazzled. They genuinely appreciate your business, even when they do not have the immediate moment to let you know.
Michiana is much better off when all of us slow down, relax and simply try to enjoy ourselves, and always support our area small locally own businesses.
Give Beefs a try, it is very much worth...
