Logan's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Indiana

When we arrived, we were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait, which seemed odd to us as the bar had many available tables and both, yet we were told they weren't available. Once we were seated, Hannah promptly took our drink and food orders. The drinks and salads came quickly, and everything looked positive. The food itself took a little bit longer than usual, but that wasn't a problem -- yet. When the food arrived, my wife's steak and baked potato came out nice and hot; my chops were good, but the sweet potato was cold. I sent it back to be reheated .... and waited. 5 minutes, then 20 minutes went by, and finally Hannah came back to see if the potato made it back, and was told no. She said she would check. Still no potato. Hannah checked again, and a 2nd person checked, and still nothing. At this point, both my wife and I had finished what was brought, so there was really no need to bring the missing item. Unbelievably, at this point Hannah came back saying the manager wanted to know if we wanted to have the potato removed from the bill .. in otherwords, did we still want to pay for something we never received. Obviously, we said yes, and figured some sort of reimbursement would be made. After about 10 minutes, she came back (i didn't understand why we hadn't been dealing with a manager at this time) saying the manager said they would take something off the tab ... the something was $1.55 (10%) of my meal. When I tried to explain a side is worth more than that (usually $3 to $4), she said that is what she was told. Not once during this time was any remorse shown (we are sorry), and I felt they thought they were doing something...

Very disappointing visit this evening at Logan's. Although the restaurant was not busy at all, our service was extremely, extremely slow. 22 minutes to get a drink and no rolls until after our meal was served. Our 6 oz steaks arrived as 3 1/2 ounces at best and mine was prepared incorrectly. After 3/4 of the way through our meal, our server, which was a rare site to see, asked me about how our steaks were prepared. Not wanting to send it back or anything of that nature, I showed her it was over cooked and all she wanted to do was argue with me about it. WTHeck??? Even after I assured her that I wasn't going to make an issue of it and just eat it. Heck,...it took forever to get served to begin with,...I sure as heck wasn't going to send it back and wait for however long to get a steak prepared correctly. The poor service and quality of our meal just went on and on this evening. We were both glad to leave. This was not the experience and treatment that we are used to receiving from Logan's.

My tea arrived with debris floating around in the bottom of glass. Gross! Salad's were warm and didn't have the usual amount of vegetable mixture. Rolls were not completely cooked and cold. The steaks were miscut and prepared incorrectly. Paid for mushrooms on the steak. I received 7 extremely small, paper thin slices of a mushroom. Baked potato was prepared correctly, but it was very, very small with almost no butter or sour cream that I had ordered with it. My plate looked like half of an adult Happy Meal.

Again,....this was not my usual experience...

Bad service but sweet lady we had serving us. Steaks was hard to chew really tough then asked for scales cause the Porter house steaks are supposed to weigh 20+oz the $30 Porter house we had got looked smaller than the tbone steak. They never brought the scales out to weigh the Porter house stake instead they gave another Porter house steak..(seemed really fishy) I asked the server where my double cheeseburger was and she stated it was in the window well thirty minutes goes by and everyone was done eating and they finally bring my double cheeseburger burger meal to me bad service bad business period I was so irritated at the time I just asked for a to go box due to the fact we have been their for 2 hours and I didn't want to keep everyone else at our table their any longer than we was already their. Waited two hours for a double cheeseburger burger something that shouldn't take 10 minutes to cook.. never brought scales as I asked of them due to the Porter house looking like a small pork chop. Could go on and on about how many times we had to ask for a spoons and how long we waited to receive one spoon. I wouldn't make this up. I love been here in the past and everything was mediocre. This place has went down...
