As soon as we walked in, every employee stared at us, making us feel very uncomfortable. We were seated right away, given chips and salsa, and our drinks were taken quickly. Our food came out in under 15 minutes, which felt rushed. The side of queso was hard with a film and lukewarm, and my quesadilla wasn’t cooked through. When I asked for it to be remade, our server was rude and slammed our drink refills on the table. When the remade quesadilla came out, it was burnt, and he dropped it on the table saying “whatever.” When we received our bill, we were charged for an extra drink we didn’t order. I asked for the inedible quesadilla and queso to be removed, but the server got loud and told us to leave. Even after paying for the one meal that was edible, he still charged us for the queso we couldn’t eat. To make matters worse, the employees were speaking to each other in Spanish about us being a gay couple. This is absolutely unacceptable. Never going back! To start with the positives: you do get a good portion of food for what you pay for. That's the only decent thing I can think of. The service was absolutely tragic! I am floored by the utter indifference of the employees. The hostess didn't greet us. Didn't ask us how many. Just looked at us blankly. Then the waiter took almost 15 minutes to come take our order. Someone else delivered our food and he never came to check on us. The tortilla on the chimichanga was completely limp: DEFINITELY NOT golden, if it was fried at all. Worst Restaurant in Terre Haute. This was the first time I’ve ordered food from here and I will NOT be coming back. Ordered food for online pick up and from the moment I walked in the door the staff was rude. Got home with our food and was missing half of it so I called the store. The person on the phone was equally unfriendly so I went back to pick up the rest of the food and was told arroz con pollo doesn’t come with beans when it clearly stated on the website AND the receipt it did. Showed them this and they still didn’t honor it/wouldn’t give a refund. They gave me the rest of our stuff and it was still missing the rice for the fajita my wife ordered. My arroz con pollo tasted like cigarettes to both my wife and I. The medium salsa to go is laughable and tastes like watered down tomato juice. Store bought salsa is better than this.
