I have heard rave reviews of this place so my husband and I decided to try it for lunch today. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been too. The prices are outrageous for one, almost $30 for 2 people to eat. One of their cokes machines was down and people were complaining and they said use the other one. It was not busy at all while there and it took around 20 minutes to get our food and there was a line a head of us to get theirs. My husband's food was covered in hair and no one handling the food had long hair. He asked when they remade it if they could put fresh bacon on the sandwich because it was so hard I choked on it, but according to them they made it about 2 hours ago and that's fresh. 90% of the tables were filthy. They refused to take the sandwich with the hair on it and said he needed to dispose of his trash. The fries were cold, burnt and so much salt on them the bottom of the cup looked like a salt shaker was dumped in the cup. The burger was tasteless and despite our unsatisfactory visit, we couldn't be refunded. My family and I will never eat...
Read moreI rarely have burgers anymore (downside of training for marathons) but when I have a burger craving, Five Guys is where I go. My meal of choice is a cheeseburger (default is 2 patties, can get a junior burger with 1 patty) with lettuce, pickle, and mayo and a side of fries. The burgers are made to order and when they call your number and hand you the grease-soaked paper bag, you know you're in for a treat. The fries are fresh with the skin on them and while the burger isn't fancy in any way, the taste just can't be beat. If I could rate the food 6 stars, I'd absolutely do it.
The one knock (very minor) is that the food is on the expensive side. A double cheeseburger, small fries, and regular drink is $11.63 with tax. Yikes! The burgers are great and while I still pay from time to time, I don't go as often as I wish I could go because it's overpriced. Five Guys would do well to either provide larger patties or knock off some of the price.
Great food that will satisfy any...
Read moreThe burger's were a absolutely cooked to perfection and the variety of toppings offered was astonishing, considering they're all included in the burger price. The dining room needed some attention and most of the staff were busy chatting with each other and paying no mind to cleanliness of dining area. I felt as though the staff could have gone out of their way to be a little friendlier. (At all friendly tbh) The employee at register seemed almost annoyed about taking our order..... it was our first time eating at Five Guys, she offered no suggestions, took our money and handed us the redeipt. After about 5 minutes they called our number, as our meals were ready. At this point I asked about our sodas and the employee pointed towards some cups by the registers and said "oh you were supposed to get them when you paid". Okayyyyy then. We sat and ate, AMAZED with the quality of our burgers! However with no thank you, or please come again when we finished I think we'll not...
