Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Terre Haute

Gordon’s has always been a place for a “special trip.” Every few weeks, we bring the truck and load up. Typically, we put in our meat slicing order, load carts, and pick up the meat that’s been sliced and prepped. Our last order was literally $1600.00. Today, I made the trip, visited the store with the truck because we have a big dinner this weekend, and now, not only do they have a “charge” for slicing meat, it’s by “appointment only.” Seriously, who does that? The food is good the prices are decent customer service isn’t bad BUT It seems they are always messing something up when we order stuff for our store. One of our very first visits we ordered 12 inch crust they didn’t have it so they gave us 10 inch without letting us know which really screwed us up. The pizza pie crust is very inconsistent it is never true to size we have went through so many that half of it is thick the other half is thin.
