Food was nice and hot which was nice cause a lot of mcd's anymore aren't. Cashier asked if we were using a code and I told her yes, then she told us to go ahead and order. Placed our order and they doubled one of our meals and we even checked it at the window and told them to remove the meal they doubled, and the girl said OK I got it. Had to provide my code at the window because she didn't put it in at the end of my order. Got up to the second window and looked at receipt which showed us that she still had that second meal on there. So, we had some food that went to waste that we ended up paying for thinking it was off of our order. I also asked for extra onion and extra pickle on my bundle deal sandwich and the additional sandwich I ordered and didn't get any extra onion, heck I barely got regular amount of onions. These kids that work here really need to pay attention to the orders, especially when the customer repeated it at the speaker and then once again asked for it to be read back at the window and still was wrong and asked to be fixed. also, the one that was taking the orders was very rude and was seemingly trying to hurry up and have us take our order and was like it's fine just ring them out. I know who owns this location, as I use to work for them years ago. This is not how they train or want their customers to be taken care of, I can ensure that. Doesn't matter what...
Read moreThe woman that took my order in the drive-thru didn't seem to understand how to properly enter my order, to the point that I made sure to repeat myself numerous times until the screen accurately reflected my order:
I've had issues recently with ordering a two cheeseburgers meal with both cheeseburgers plain, but only one coming out plain. The screen showed she has selected the correct meal, but only had one marked plain. She started getting a curt tone when I asked her to confirm both were plain, but she did.
I had to mention more than twice (I hadn't started counting times repeating myself yet) that I wanted apple slices with one of the two kids meals.
I had to request light ice in my drink 3 times before she entered it. I've repeatedly ordered this at many different McDonald's, without any issue, so I was a bit amazed she struggled entering this.
I failed to confirm she up-sized the whole meal, so I didn't get a large order of fries. My kids didn't eat as much as I expected after a day out, so it ended up not mattering, but it seems to have become a thing to only up-size drinks? This isn't the first time or location to do this. Ordering the meal large ("I'd like X meal, large, with a Dr. Pepper with light ice") has gotten me just a large drink at at least three different locations in the area. I'll make sure I'm more clear in the future, but...
Read moreWe ordered at the kiosk inside and it didn't have any receipt paper. We went to the counter and the employee had to go get get a manager named Alyssa to get it. Well while waiting for her another employee asked if we ordered I said yes just waiting to get my receipt. Alyssa shows up ignores us looks off to the side to take the employee's order! Meanwhile the guy who went to get her apologized for her rudeness quietly while she continued to ignore us. She finished ringing up the employee looked at the guy who got her and said "you got this right?" Pointing to us. When he tells her no she doesn't apologize for ignoring us or being rude. She does get me my receipt and then delegates work as she walks her way back to the back...not sure why she felt that was OK at all. I'm a paying customer who up to that moment had been still good with my interaction at this McDonald's. I really don't know why she wasn't treating us respectfully, this day and age you never know. Either way...
