I have been a lifelong Mancino’s fan, and today’s trip unfortunately made us decide to neverrrr come back. First my friend went to order for herself, and the female working at the register literally didn’t say a single word. My friend waited a solid minute (doesn’t sound long but it was painful) to order while the female stared at her, no simple “what can I get ya?” and my friend had to start the interaction. We don’t expect people to be fakey nice because it’s a job, but a basic acknowledgment of my friend’s presence, so she could know the employee was ready for her to order would’ve been the absolute bare minimum.
Then my boyfriend ordered for us, and we ordered an 8” griller as a combo which includes a side (salad or fries) and a drink. We ordered fries as a part of the combo. When the food was brought to the table, the fries didn’t come.
No biggie, so we go up and ask for our fries. The male worker said that a combo isn’t an option with the 8” grillers, just the 4” grillers. My boyfriend said “combo” specifically when ordering and the male didn’t point the problem out clearly then. He asked if we wanted to pay for fries, and the weirdness of everything put a bad taste in our mouths and we declined the extra expense of fries that we only wanted because of the combo. I checked the menu and included a picture, and it doesn’t specify the combo exception!
So I understand if it was advertised and our mistake, but it’s not listed anywhere and doesn’t make any sense to exclude the combo option for the larger sandwich.
After those things, my friend’s sandwich came with tomatoes and no onions, when she ordered the sandwich with no tomatoes and added onions! My friend was over it and didn’t want to point out another mess up, so she picked the tomatoes off and didn’t have the onions on her sandwich she asked for.
So Mancino’s, please make sure your employees say something, ANYTHING at all when a customer approaches the register to order!!! Also, be sure employees inform the customers of exceptions before presenting us plates with missing items due to an exception that wasn’t said in person when ordering or printed on the menu.
I know your employees don’t live and breathe making food and putting in orders of course, but the few we interacted with today made our one meal out a month a let down, due to the lack of bare minimum thought and professionalism. It was weird, disappointing, and rude and we wish we went somewhere else with our limited...
Read moreFood is awesome, especially the breadsticks and cheese sauce. But the staff is highly unprofessional. Today one of the girls working was wearing a crop top and pajama pants and taking selfies, and there was music blaring in the kitchen. It also takes awhile to get your food. My order today took 30 minutes to come out and when I finally went up and asked what the deal was, the girl who took my order admitted it was sitting in the warmer and they forgot to give it to me. No apology or anything either. I left a tip but now wish I didn’t. But as I said, the food is always very good so I’ll continue to visit regardless of the questionable experience, but I think the staff should be retrained to me a bit more professional to...
Read moreSo I understand it's a holiday weekend. And I get it your short staffed. But there was a two top in the corner and then us a three top. Fyl we always tip well because they job is so hard. We made the mistake of asking if we seat ourselves or wait. In respect to dinning room set up. She sure was snotty. I guess you thought we were the only place open. We knew we'd not get waited on. and even if we did, that attitude would only continue. We left after sitting for 20 minutes, at such time we never even got an order in and drinks. So disappointed. Won't be back. Not interested in calling you. This was NOT the pit stop side. Around noon when there was only a...
