Service: 3/5, Quality: 5/5, Value: 3/5 Vegetarian/Vegan Options: 5/5
In short - A must try restaurant for vegans and omnivores alike. The food is delicious with menu that can satisfy anyone.
Further: Service is about what you'd expect. the staff was friendly, though you're left to get your own drinks and refill your drinks. Why am i being asked for an 18% tip when I pay? What service was provided? It's not clear to me TBH.
Quality was excellent. Almost too excellent. As vegans we were kind of freaked out because the food tasted so good for meat substitutes. For example I had the 10th St Burger and that was one convincing burger. I really enjoyed the flavor and sauce they added to that burger and I'd rank it above the Impossible Burger which you can get at a Union Jacks. My SO got the reuben after hearing rave reviews about it but to be honest, it fell short of expectations. The meat substitute was good, but the taste just wasn't good overall. Maybe we just don't like reubens so I'm not marking down for that. We also ordered an chili cheese fries appetizer and that was delicious. Would absolutely get that again along with the 10th St Burger.
Value is average. I'm neither impressed or disappointed. The amount of food you get for what you pay is fair. I've definitely been at vegan restaurants that give you more, and I've been at restaurants that give you less. So average/fair here.
The entire menu is vegan so this is a huge plus on my rating scale. There was quite a variety and we both found several options we would like to try. We do intent to come back to...
Read moreTHIS PLACE IS FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 If you are skeptical of vegan food, this will change your entire world. I'm not even halfway exaggerating. You do NOT have to be vegan to eat here. I'm not vegan. I still eat meat. This ain't grass & tofu anymore guys. If you gave a meat-lover some of these dishes, they would not be able to tell they were not made with any animal products. I would put money on that statement. The staff is always really nice & patient & happy to answer questions. They have big portion sizes here too, we aren't talking sample plates & that fancy foo foo cr@p. No. this food is stick to your ribs & make you shed a tear when you take your last bite. The Reuben is fire, seitan wings are bangin, brussel sprout app is chefs kiss, the gyro is for real something id sm@ck someone over. Oh yeah & don't forget about the chili. Everything I have had here is 🤌🏽🤌🏽 super chill & laid back environment with a cool modern/cozy vibe. Highly recommend this to EVERYONE!! Even if you don't think this place or this kind of food would be "your thing," you should try it anyway & I bet it would change your perspective on...
Read moreThis is a pretty nice place- real easygoing atmosphere, neatly decorated, kept clean, nice potted greenery here and there. The staff is nice and ready to get what you want. Nice chill soundtrack over the speakers, nice mix of 80's to nowish, but the chill stuff.
Order at the counter, though I'm unsure how often their chalkboard menu changes, but they've got a lot of vegan options alongside the usual diner fare. Seitan wings, salads, good handful of appetizery things (I'll post some photos), sandwiches and specials that change how often? I have no idea. But I chanced a gyro, and it was excellent. The gyro meat was just melt in your mouth good, with chopped cucumber and the other usual fresh veggies suspects- it was just really good.
(It has been brought to my attention that the menu is entirely vegan, which is awesome because that gyro had me entirely fooled.)
They also have a little variety of canned alcohol on hand, seems like beers and seltzers mostly.
I definitely intend to come back and try a Reuben or their burger to see what it's like- I don't feel like I'll be...
