10th Street Pub — Restaurant in Indianapolis

The food is always good, but the service was not as good as the previous time. Our waitress was not checking on us. My husband ordered a beer, but she took a long time to bring it to us. The man at the next table (a regular) noticed we were talking about leaving. He went up to the bar where she was standing and said something to her. She had 2 drinks and took them to a table near us. He tapped her shoulder and pointed to us. She replied, "I know" and then turned away. She took the other customer's order and then looked at us and said, "I am waiting for them to change the keg." This would not have been an issue if she had told us 15 minutes earlier as we would have known there was an issue instead of making us wait and feeling ignored. Service, for the most part is good to great. It kind of depends on how sociable the waitress is. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. Wish they had a smaller burger. 1/2lb burger is too big for a lot of people. Qtr lb or a third lb would be good alternative. Pool tables are some of the best in town but don't appear to be properly maintained. All need to be serviced. Coasters under the legs is not the way to level a Diamond. Price per game is too high. No free sessions that I'm aware of. Several places have afternoon/lunch free pool. The tabletop shuffleboard is money losing white elephant in the room. Take it out and bring back the pool tables. Wings solid. But thats the only thing solid at 10th st pub. They act like they are a michelin star restaurant taxing on automatic gratuity, all while kicking out 30 year olds because of ID issues like they are Club Envy. This DIVE bar needs to remember they are on the corner of 10th and mitthoefer. Screwing over blue collar Americans defeats the whole purpose of what a dive bar stands for, and nobody should stand for it. I will never be back and nor should you ever go here if you believe in the sanctity of what a dive bar should be.
