Amelia’s Windsor Park is an absolute gem in Indianapolis! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the inviting aroma of fresh-baked bread and a cozy, thoughtfully designed atmosphere. The space is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating—including a nice upstairs area—making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your pastries.
The quality of the baked goods here is outstanding. Their European-style sourdough bread is some of the best in the city, with a perfect balance of crusty exteriors and soft, flavorful interiors. The semolina and country loaves are personal favorites, and their baguettes are great for everything from sandwiches to homemade French toast. If you’re lucky, you might get to try their focaccia, which is absolutely delicious!
Beyond bread, Amelia’s also offers a great selection of pastries, grocery items, and even high-quality coffee that rivals some of the best coffee shops in town. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought and care into their products, and you can taste the difference.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help with recommendations. The service, combined with the exceptional quality of food, makes for a top-tier experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, stocking up on fresh bread for the week, or just looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, Amelia’s Windsor Park is a must-visit. Highly...
Read moreCorporate farmhouse vibes with a limited coffee menu. Baked goods (sweets) were decent, coffee typical, and maybe don't sit outside in the back because they've got some sort of biting bugs.
☕ Ordered a latte w/ oat milk and a pump of chocolate syrup was enjoyable --nothing earth shattering.
🍪 GF buckwheat cookie was delicious! Seriously good. I personally didn't like the chunky salt on top since it detracts from the otherwise SAVORY, lightly sweet and chewy cookie.
Brownie. Solidly confused why it's black. There is no reason for the food coloring or added activated charcoal. Literally none because there not even a special taste. Disappointing.
Maybe the breads are better. Here's to hoping.
We sat outside in the back and both me and one of my companions got bit by some small, black bug. Bite is a bit swollen and definitely itchy without...
Read moreOne of the best bakeries in town! Tried their Black Forest danish and it was superb! Ordered hot chocolate and cortado and they were simply decent.
Bakery items: Great selection and definitely try their cookies, danishes and croissants! Great sour dough and other loafs you can take home too!
Coffee and more: Strictly ok! The hot chocolate I ordered had very little chocolate taste and when asked to make it a little more chocolatey it turned really weird. They use Monins chocolate sauce for hot chocolate and not a premix or chocolate and hence taste was average. The coffee too was not great. Better to get the food and go to nearby cafés!
Atmosphere: Absolutely loved the vibe here! The outside seating is quite lovely and really...
