This review is for all the stores not just 1 I loved this place and was probably spending $300 a month here for the last 18 months but recently the red beans and rice isn't the same and there's never any sausage in it anymore and the color and texture recently changed,the hush puppies have been bitter and not sweet with no corn. I get the basa and the last 9 out of 10 times it's either had a chlorine taste or way too salty and or the breading has had a weird after taste and it crumbles super fine when you bite it and it's just not like how it's been for the first 4 years out of the 5 or so years I've been eating here. Also the shrimp I got was terrible and the new way the shrimp sauce is isn't good at all. It use to have more liquid in it and now it's just clumpy and dry and the tarter sauce has also changed since it's not in the processed containers anymore and it may as well just be mayonnaise. I've got tons of rewards left but it's time to take a break and stop coming for a while. Seems like almost everything out there is getting more and more inconsistent and the prices are too high for that to happen. And I've had the same problem as others with online ordering,order several minutes before arriving on my lunch break and tell them I'm on site and 15 mns later they tell me my order hasn't even been started yet cause they didn't know I was here. Read moreThis was only my second time ordering here as I do not live in this city. Both visits I ordered the same thing because my daughter has food allergies. While the flavor of the food is good, and my daughter enjoys her meal, the manners of the guy taking orders could be much better. He had zero manners the first visit, I perceived it as he had a busy day. The second visit his mood was unwelcomely the same, I even had to speak first, he never says thank you, enjoy, your welcome...his tone is never polite and when he does speak, he says stalely "anything else" then tells you your total. He gives off body language/energy as though he rather be anywhere else but there, if that's what you're displaying why would I want to be there? My husband wanted to order a lot for himself this time but changed his mind because of him also. I won't order from here again simply because his customer service skills are nonexistent. Although I don't live in this city, I come to town every month on business, sometimes even vacation or events, and even multiple times a month, deciding to give The Amp 16 Tech vendors a try since early 2022. Reason for 2 star review is that the online order pickup system told me my order is ready but when I went in to pick it up the employee said he hasn't even started preparing it and I should not trust the online system. So what is the point of the system and it sending me a text? He told me to sit and wait patiently which I did. Once I received my food and began driving away I received a call from them that they forgot to pack my cheesecake and I should return to pick it up but problem was my fish would have gotten cold if I turned around. He told me to come back at a later time and get the cheesecake by mentioning his name (which I have since forgotten) but the proper way to deal with this should have been a refund for the cheesecake or a full refund due to the repeated inconveniences.
